whoa ... uh ... so, besides acheivements and the daily heroic (for frost emblems), there's no point in running heroics? Could you not get full T9 in less time by simply running ICC5 normal over and over?
or did they make the ICC5mans really difficult on normal mode if you're not really geared?Quote:

Random LFG gives badges per boss + 2 at the end + 13g each character.
So for every random heroic you do... you are guaranteed 5 to 7 badges. Assuming you can do 2 OG heroics per hour with "ok" gear that means you get 10-14 badges per hour. If you can do 3 per hour that is 15-21 badges per hour. If you are REALLY good... you can get 20-28 badges per hour.
Considering t9 takes 190 badges that is...
15 hours (with OK gear) - 12 per hour Average
10 hours (with medium gear) - 18 per hour average
8 hours (with t8 or better gear) - 24 per hour average
After each run you get 65 gold total not including DE + selling greys + gold from drops. So you are looking at... minimum of 300 gold per heroic.
Heroic trash resets 15 minutes after no player has been inside the instance, even after bosses are dead the trash can be endlessly reset
So it would have to be an instance where there are no "waves" for boss events.Quote:

Contrary to what blizzard blue postings state, the random heroic instance feature is not bypassing heroic instance lockouts. If you've already done a heroic for the day, and you later get a random heroic for that instance, you are screwed. The bosses will be non-existent.
I'm hoping this is an isolated glitch, or else a known bug, and is not now intended to be the way things work.
I did heroic Nexus earlier, and just now got Nexus as the random heroic. I ported in, cleared trash to Omorok, only to discover Omorok was MIA, backtracked and Keristraza MIA also.
I'm hit or miss on this one. One instance we only missed one boss, but had the last boss. Another one had no bosses at all. Still another ran perfectly normal.Quote:
