Wotlk - Azjol-Nerub (AN)

Some people spread out and eat the spikes and heal through it, some people (like me) keep everyone grouped up and move often. If you have strong heals it's easier to heal through the spikes and not move as much.

Spreading out did actually help.
The beginning was actually a mess, untill I positioned my toons.

I ran in, got aggro on tank. Moved Alts through the boss to the opposite wall. When they hit the wall , IWT to turn them, then my spread macro and they all stood against the back wall.

I could heal them manually easily.
(Totems: Wrath of air, Healing Stream, Totem of Wrath and Stoneskin totem.)

actually another tip I saw in a video (by hachoo http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=19189) is to:

spread the toons while the boss is till "sleeping"
You can walk on the outer ring without aggroing the boss.

Spread your toons and then start aggroing the boss.

I even got the "Gotta Go" achievement last run.

it is really easy this way.

I park my ranged dps/heals at the entry ramp and run around the side of the platform so he is facing away fromt he dps when he aggros, thats the easy part. When he burrows I hit my follow button and drag the slaves around killing the adds, I try to make sure i keep everyone facing the same direction so when I see the ground rumbling for the spike i run forward till everyone is out of it. As long as you pay attention and move fast enough everybody lives, takes a little longer on the add steps because of the movement but its the easiest way to control where the slaves stand.

I did try and spread out and just eat the spikes but i was running out of mana healing and strafing doesn't work unless you stack your slaves because someone is alwasy going to eat the spike.
