I love how every thread relating to Sam reaches at least 10 pages! :P
Hey Prepared, Were you able to do the PVP dailies in Grizzly hills with a raid? If you can I bet that is your fastest way to level all your characters together. The reason i think it is a possibility is you don't get exp when you kill the mobs, but you do for the quest turn in. You could try it with your 6. Just a thought.
Just a quick counter-point. You can't do the booterang quest when in a raid and you get no xp for hitting the peons; so, that's not necessarily an indicator. You just don't get any credit when you hit the peons. I spent a looooong time trying to figure out wtf was going on one night some time ago. I then realized I was still in a raid from the previous night.Quote:

I'm still curious about the Grizzy Hills quests; you should also be able to test it with any group size: just convert to raid.
Sam has a point, though. If I am not mistaken, the Sullon Zek server in EQ was free-for-all PvP. This meant that anyone of any level could gank you just about anywhere, once you were level 6. This includes your own faction and even your own race. If they could get you to die to a mob you wouldn't lose durability... you would lose experience after level 10 or 11, and leveling in EQ was painful enough without that. A person who ganked you could loot your coin and one equipped item, as well. And there was no spirit res-- when you died, you appeared at your spawn point (what would be your hearthstone location in WoW) with none of your items or money, which were still on your corpse. You had to get to your corpse and loot your items and money. "Corpse-camping" in Everquest takes on a very different meaning than it does in WoW.Quote:

In WoW what he loses is a bit of coin, by comparison. Being ganked may cost him a lot of lost time, but it simply isn't as painful as it would've been in EQ. You can certainly make his life extremely miserable if someone is always online when he tries to play, but you've got to do more than gank him a few times to make it worse than it was in EQ.
i would deathgrip his characters one at a time until he realizes he's missing a few. then i'll mount up and outrun him. just for fun sam. just for fun. =]

I hope whoever does all of this remembers to FRAPS it. :P
Seeing how Sam is apparently immune to all of the hate posts, i'm pretty sure you guys will be tired of ganking him before he even gets anywhere near annoyed with it.
So? It'll still be a shitload of fun for us.
Getting to max level in EQ was a peice of piss if you weren't totally retarded. If it takes over 36 hours played then you are officially dumb.
Thread is coming up on 24 hours old and still no one has posted a Screenshot of a dead Sam. I'm very disappointed.
If his guys are in the mid 30s now, time is running out before they reach L50 or so and become a contender for a 5xFreshie DK team. Hurry now, don't wait until 2011 for him to get there!
