Correct non-participation is bad mm'kay.
However, if you are just superbly incompentent, and happen to lose ALOT while playing, that is fine.
Intent is a hard thing to prove, or SO I HEAR ;). Either way if you're hte only 10, then no one can report you. It's kinda a "tree in the forest falls..." situation.
They action non-participation because you are hurting people other then yourself. If you are the only 10 people in there.... then?
The very first time Suvega and I did Attumen, we 1-shot him.Quote:

We also forgot to fraps, but it's ok -- I ended up forgetting to re-buff Righteous Fury (for those who don't know -- it's like the "defensive stance" for pallies) and lost all 3 of my ele shammies after the first few lightning bolt volleys. Suvega had to dps the rest of the way with his 3 mages. We still did fine, and Attumen dropped the horse mount.
They also action you because the opposing team is getting a benefit without having to do the work. Regardless of reasons, purposely losing / wintrading / "losing premades" can get not only your honor/gear removed, but any honor/arena gear after the fact due to the "benefit" you gained from the illegitimate gear while earning any future pieces of gear. Not worth it.Quote:

When I'm tanking Nalorakk, I always turn him around anyway, so he is facing the spot where he is standing before the pull. If he charges, he will come back to you and you don't need to move or turn around at all.Quote:
and when he charges I have to play the 'spin the pally around game'.
But to be honest, I don't really think that your "team" is geared enough for him yet.
I wonder if you ever try heroics for quick badgers (especially the dailies)? Most heroic bosses are just tank & spank anyway, so that should be really easy.
haha,
i m chinese and live in HangZhou, but i play a holy priest in US WOW..
now i m thinking about geting a chinaWOW version and visit you, lawl.. what you have been doing is amazing.
=D

Shade of Aran kill:
[no sound]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YyCeUKfIUw
I don't have any MP3s on the computer i'm using so I might reupload one with sound later.
I have videos of all the Kara bosses except Nightbane and Netherspite. Nightbane I got down to 45% this week on my best try while Netherspite was down to around 85% before I realized it's just WAYYYY to complicated to do. I also got the eagle boss in Zul'Aman down to 32% before my priest ran outta mana. I got the technique on the fight down but I'm running into a gear issue I believe. The rest of the kara bosses I might wait until I get some mp3s before i upload them.
Hey hey Lavander.
I played US Wow before but the lag was terrible.
I've had lots of people make toons on my server to find me and ask about the video. Either that or they are Alliance that I killed in a BG and they are asking me how I control the characters. lol

The Curator Kill:

Prince Malchezaar Kill:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIvT2n3nqqI
These have sound. I'm pretty proud of the Prince Malchezaar video, my skills at video editing have increased by 1.
I know it's old news but I'm gonna post these videos as I get them finished. [the dates on these videos do not correspond to the day i'm uploading them.]
Nixi, awesome work ! You are quite the inspiration!
I know it is a lot of work editing videos, but, is there any chance we could get a higher quality download version? Such as Vimeo or something like that. Youtube is OK but the quality is not so great.
Also I'm getting an error "this video is unavailable" for the Prince fight.
Edit: able to access the Prince fight at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIvT2n3nqqI now.
I made the file for the prince fight a bit bigger than the other files. It says it's 'still processing' but i thought it would have been finished by now... argh. It's like 6am and i have to work soon. ><
If you click on the 'watch in high quality' button the videos are actually pretty decent.
I'll try out another service once I get all the videos edited. It's just easy to put them up on Youtube. Plus I'm uploading from behind the great firewall of cn so it's not the most stable connection. I can't even reply to comments on my videos... *sighs*
Edit: I think i was able to reply to a comment but the connection still seems unstable. Youtube was blocked from where I'm at for a longtime (along with wikipedia, bbcnews, and even wowwiki).
edit: btw - do you guys like the full screen mode? This week I fought a lot of the battles without my interface up. I'm always staring at my priest screen anyway. :P
awesome, very lucky on those infernals though! :D
my hero
If he drops an infernal on my tank I just try to heal through it. Last night he dropped one and it was hitting only 2 of my alts and my tank.. i was doing okay healing through it and I moved one alt out, but while scrambling to move the other I let my tank die. ><Quote:

Other times he's dropped them just on my alts, and twice I've gotten away but it's always been a wipe. The one time I got away with the alts I simply didn't give my tank enough healing and the other time I moved my alts like 30 yards from him and his explosion wiped a few guys with the debuff. Overall very hectic and i haven't suceeded in recovering from a bad drop yet. I just wipe and try again.
Nightbane is a PITA. I've got the first ground phase down pat but the air phase is still really shaky for me. I either wipe during the rain of bones or during the transistion to the ground. I've got him back to the ground successfully a couple of time but then it's usually fear that gets me. I'm starting to blame my skills more than my equipment now. Last night on Moroes my offtank wiped really early, so i just tanked him with my back to him (to avoid gouge) and got his ass down to enraging. After he killed my tank I just started mashing heals and my lead shaman took a few hits. I tore him down to 3% before he finally wiped me. I know my MT's gear is pretty good.
I subed out one warlock for my warrior last night for Moroes, Maiden, The Opera (Romulo and Jul), and the mana feeders. Using melee alts is pretty hard but it was doable. It peeked my interest to try and use her as a tank again. Her gear sucks so hard though.
Overall a fun kara night. Atuneman, Maiden, Illhoof and Curator are all easy sauce while Moroes, Opera and Prince are at least doable in 2-3 trys. Chess event is just hit or miss, depending on if King Lane comes to me early. Aran gets down to the wire every time, I've never killed him with less than 4 people dead. Although last night I killed him in 3 trys.
How long is it taking you per run now?
It's hard to tell how much time i spend actually playing. I go afk quite frequently for long periods of time. I still think it takes 6 hours of actual playtime to clear it. I'm getting fast every time though. Plus I waste a lot of time trying to kill nightbane every week. I have a lot of room to improve.
I'm lazy on the other videos. I've got clips for all the bosses I've killed but I'm just spending my time farming badges now. Yesterday I was still fancying the thought of bringing in my warrior as a MT (replacing a warlock) and letting my two paladins heal. So I took her out for a spin in heroics. Blood furnance was the daily. I think Fur put it best when he said check your ego at the door. She just got leveled over and over and I gave up. I took her through normal slabs for a confidence booster, then I went to heroic steamvaults and managed to eek by it. She died on every other pull though. ><
Her equipment is pathetic. She has like 445 defense and barely 11k health. I gem'd everything with sta gems, so she's lucky to have 11k health. I really dread the thought of gearing up another toon in normal instances, so I shelved her today (I don't mind heroics because of badges). I took my 3 new shamans and my two paladins and rocked heroics for a cool 26 badges today. It felt nice trashing heroics after getting pwn'd yesterday. The only difference was the tank...
My raid is strong enough to let her tag along for the first half of kara not doing much but dying and collecting loot. The warlock that i have to sub needs gear, so she'll only see the first 4 bosses before getting put back on the bench.
I'm really looking forward to ZAM, so having the extra tank will let me rotate a pally to full time healer. I can't stand to think of using 2 shamans and a priest to heal. seems like too much micromanagement to me, although I have yet to try it.
