Good thing this isn't the Wow forums. I might have ended up calling someone a prick. Anyways, wish I could level even half that fast. Holy crap!

At least I answered the OP's question.
It goes to show you, it really does.
I don't care how many fingers people have pointed at me for mine, it was no more than an illusion directed in a defensive manner to the post immediately after mine. If you are too blind to see that and somehow attach anything to my posts beyond the comment being defensive; you are mindless and feeding off previous posts to up your post count.
I'm sorry for being born a rational person that doesn't take statements for automatic truth nor answer questions laced with falsehoods directly without first attempting to validate them in their context.
The fact that so many of you are turning this into some sort of issue is beyond my comprehension. Pretend for a moment I never defended myself from the "nice first impression comment", this would not have devolved in such a way. I find it ironic that no one tells this individual to take it to PM's, or why the personal attacks. At least from my post the OP can clearly say "I did this from x-y, this from z-x, and here is how". I would have simply said, I stand corrected, thanks for the information and everybody would learn something.
Go ahead and keep the forums the way you do, I used no l33t speak, I defended myself against a post that clearly ignored the OP for a person gouge; and further devolved myself as I saw more and more bashes based on my retaliation post. If people can utter the words ban for a thread that is not insensitive in terms of race, vulgarity, religion, and it is supported and condoned from the community. I would be more than proud to be banned, go right ahead.
What about this scenario? Sorry I was a prick. Was having a bad day. Then everyone moves on. You have a really weird way of dealing with things. You think it is everyone else that is 'out of step'. Just like my old boot camp days back in the 80s. We had a guy in the company that was always out of step and he would get yelled at. He told the CC that the company was out of step. And what sucks is he truly believed it. You sir are out of step.
.... still waiting for psypuls to tell how he did it.
I understand where you are coming from, but I'm sorry, I've looked at this from all logical perspectives.Quote:

In this very instance, I am willing to play all cards that the group is out of 'step'.
Why the heck are you bringing bad days into things? It has nothing to do with a bad day...why would I say I'm sorry I was wrong, what was I wrong for doing? That is my point.
So, you want me to apologize for what exactly? For saying I don't believe you to the OP -- is that what you want?
For using the metaphor of the middle finger to someone that crudely assumed my character from asking for proof and ignored the ops question?
Really, I don't have a weird way of dealing with things. I just find it a bit ironic how everyone is jumping together, getting on my for simply saying there is no way he did what he stated, and by asking for proof that is a verbal commitment to it being my opinion and not fact -- until I have proof.
All I'm doing now is amusing myself. Referring back to my last post, if being out of step means that I can ask for proof in statements without being flamed to hell for being mean, by god I'm out of step and I LIKE IT.
Woah, lock the doors, I hope you aren't afraid of pitch forks.Quote:

Personally, I don't see how calling someone out on an exaggeration is overtly rude. Many of us come to this forum to share ideas and experiences; those are tainted when mixed with fiction, so I understand PP03's mindset when he made his original reply. I read it just after he made it, didn't find it commentable. Nor did I find the criticisms of him, or his rebuttals that commentable. The drama isn't why i come to this board, so I ignored it. However, his original reply had content. He pointed out that the guy was obviously exagerating. His language may not have been as padded as others would like, but I don't see how flaming someone to call them a flamer is defensible in any way.
Lets remember we are here to share ideas, experience and knowledge, not fiction, not drama. Try to overlook when people use harsher language than you would have.
PP03: Obviously, you feel ambused somewhat. The whole situation got blown out of proportion, there are some strong personalities on this board that get cranky sometimes; that's life.
That being said; I followed Suvega's tips and did the HFP, Zang and some Terrokar quests and then ground to 70. However, rather than doing instance grinding, I ground for Primals so that I'd have enough for epic crafting profession gear once I hit 70. I didn't win any speed records, but I'd have to grind the matts anyway, might as well get XP for it.
This is actually kinda key. For me at least I was starting to burn out during the last stretch to 70. Finding something you can grind for may help. I chose to grind out as many enchanting recipies as I could (I got really really good at speed running crypts) and went from 68.5->70 just getting those. I had motivation to keep going because I knew if I wanted to grind these at 70 it would be a real waste of time (do to not getting xp or even rep for most things).Quote:
