What's so special about using a holy paladin? Can it be just as easily substituted with any other healer? Do paladins bring something special for melee or warriors that Druids/Shamans/Priests can't?
I'm curious because my knowledge of most of the classes other than Druid and Mage is quite sparse.
Edit: Also, how are you controlling your War/Pal team in PvE? Do you lead from the Paladin and heal from range as usual or is he supposed to be up there in melee range? I seem to recall someone saying "Paladins are a melee" healer but I never understood what that meant. I understand they have a judgement ability which is short range and are still supposed to be used by healers. But does the Paladin actually need to be meleeing anything?
