I certainly faced "real" teams and the activity went up alot sunday/monday/tuesday, you cant expect that people priotize 5v5 with uludar and everything going on.
I dont understand why people stack shitloads of stamina/resillience etc..
As a 4 dps team you have to get that early kill and you wont get that sitting with 1500 SP on each shaman, you certainly wont win on outlasting teams...

Most team's have ways to entirely mitigate your dmg no matter how hard you hit. you could hit them for 2 million dmg the fact is their immune at the moment, or a grounding totem soaked up your dmg, or it got reflected. If somone is out in the open without some bs immunity/reflect/ground type effect their as good as dead and I only have 1650ish spell power unbuffed. I have no problem killing people, its just a matter or living long enough to make them use all their bullshit so their not immune any longer.
Oh also, when teams are able to kill you in 3 gcd's with just spam AoE dmg and stun/silences, stacking resil stamina is the only way to even play in 5's. Even with my gear I still get roflstomped by mass AoE pewpew from time to time before I can even get a spell off due to the AoE CC's.

Consider on getting the stoneclaw glyph or chaning your healer.
A paladin brings aura mastery(10 seconds of immunity to silence/interrupts) and imp divine protection (his shield absorbs 30% of all the damage)
Should make you last long enough to blow apart the rogue, wich is the easiest class to kill once clos is gone..
