I'll give it a week, upgrade my primary account to WotLK then start a death knight, I'm currently levelling a team with similar names for some RP aspect, when they get to 50/55/60 ish I'll leave them ready and waiting to team up with my new DK ofr a run to 70. After that I'll level my paladins to 70, then finally upgrade all accounts and start on the 70-80 content.
I'll be soloing to 80 on one of my 70s with my wife and will probably mess around with deathknights before going back to multiboxing.

I will be getting it probably the day of release, but not midnight. I was only allowed to preorder 3 copies, so I will need to shop around to get 2 more. I play very late at night to avoid having WoW mess with my real life, so I might be able to avoid the big lag and the overpopulation in quest zones. I'm sure questing will still be annoying.
I was on a PVP server when BC came out, and I can attest to the fact that PVP didn't happen much. There were just too many players. If you killed someone you would be killed, guaranteed. It just wasn't feasible to PVP. I'm sure people did kill each other, but like I said, it would be met with your own death with 20 people standing there watching you.
keep in mind wotlk is more demanding on your PC than current WoW, patch 3.0 may be a good indicator of how many your PC can handle.
It should be noted that you can set the beta client's graphics settings such that you end up with the exact same graphics performance as your main/live client. ;) I've tried it and I can get 'em to where they look almost identical and get within 1-2 FPS of each other. Now, where I will agree is with memory usage. The couple of times I checked, in the same zone, the beta client was using about 30% more memory (700mb vs 500mb). That aspect will probably affect single-machine boxers with 4GB of RAM more than any other aspect of things.Quote:

Already preordered 3 of them, when I went in to do it the guy at Gamestop was like you got a few friends that want it too. And I was like yeah thats it friends that want it hehe. I will more than likely not hit Northrend for a few days and let it cool down, sure I will be behind but dont really mater still tinking of picking up another copy and have a 5 man team vs a 4 man team. This weekend I might pick up my 5th.
Thanks for all of the responses. I'm definitely going to stand in line to get my copies. This will allow me to check off one of those un-planned life goals of "for no reason whatsoever, stood in line for 2-4hrs to get a copy of a video game". I think I will wait a week to the weekend before thanksgiving to take my 2 vacation days, to let any unforeseen kinks expose themselves the opening weekend and allow me a week to wander around.
I have vacation the week after launch :)
