I didn't know either, and I'm listening to it now. Great interview! But, does the main interviewer even play WoW? Holy crap.Quote:

I only listen to the first couple minutes, probably listen to the rest later, but at the start didn't he say like "some people like it, some people hate it like me, and some people don't know about it".Quote:

Edit: he said "against" not "hate"
It's difficult to tell if he's asking questions for the lowest common denominator listener (probably) or he's just ignorant. The "downloading packs of macros leading to automation" question had me scratching my head.Quote:

There's also this WCRadio multiboxing-related goodness that you can listen to at work as well. I believe they should be in the Articles wiki.
I'm sure Blizz keeps logs of all the forum posts, and blast3r already noted the post number and time ^^Quote:

I'm amazed how bright some people out there are ^^

Shame. I would've reported him to Blizzard -- I'm pretty sure they don't take threats against other folks kindly, particularly when they're illegal.
That being said, I've had to deal with DOS attacks on my website in the past.
any idea how often this sort of thing happens? In general I mean
By the time I reported the post, the bio-hazard symbol was already gray. Which means that he probably got a lot more attention than he intended to.Quote:

Simplest thing to do would've been to remind him that he was talking about committing a federal crime. Many times they will publicly laugh it off as if to show that they're not scared, but they won't dare to actually do anything. Young kids don't always recognize how certain lines, even when not used with serious intent, are going to be taken very seriously.
Haha. I find it highly *highly* unlikely myg0t would target us.
I mean really, we are the closest things myg0t has to "brothers in arms" We both have similar goals, to make people QQ on the internet.
I actually know someone who posted crap like that on another clan's boards from work and he got canned. Having defended multiple sites from DDOS attacks in my careear it is a lot of hard work and usually a lot of money spent or lost and most importantly my time. The FEDs take threats like that very seriously and actually prosecute them pretty aggressively, at least in my experience. That to the Patriot act you can also attach a "terrorist" label to threats like that and get some one put away for a long time.
Hey Vyndree, I followed the link to your letter to WCRadio, read that and then tried to read the response from WCRadio on their site that you have linked.Quote:

It is blocked... something about malicious code...
There was a button that said "Why was this site blocked" or something to that effect and it led me to THIS PAGE .... interesting.Quote:
