Just did 2 Corrupted and 1 Lost zone + boss in Orgrimmar with avg ilvl of 445. The affix's were not kind but at least it was doable.

Just did my first 4 chest run on the paladins. Split Personality is a massive pain and can definitely cause a wipe, so a bit of luck is required. I find Orgrimmar is by far the easier instance (for this team anyways) and of the 2 Split Personality zones Valley of Honor with Rexxar is tremendously easier. A few chances to get one shot there while disoriented, but not quite as many.

Sadly even a 4 chest only rewarded me with 2 Torn Pages, so I'm not convinced it is worth the extra effort and risk.

I think you're ahead! :) What ilvl is the team did you have elite extermination by chance?
Edit* doh I thought 4 chest meant full clear, but the boss gives you one too! Still extremely impressive with Split personality.
On my Druids I ended up just pulling a chunk and then standing still and eating the damage instead of trying to move. Though it didn't work properly on some.
Dang Wubsie! i think i gave up on my rets too soon.. i really love the team.. i had been playing 5 prots..but prot DPS is not great. I did ret for a bit.. but im guessing my ilevel was low and my talent choices and rotation management needs help. My prot spec out DPSd my rets, which should not be the case!

You guys should try Holy Paladins.. they are very strong in visions from what I have been reading.
Plus the health reduction of mobs.
From what I have gathered ( I need to test but don't want to waste a vial yet) is that the reduction is only for solo play.
I'm around 447 on average. And I do have that perk on most of them I believe. The researches are a bit all over the place because I'm having the issue where the talent trees are in wildly different orders for no apparent reason...
Tanking damage is problematic for a melee team, since you often end up rather stacked up after repositioning and a lot of the big hits happen to be AOE stuff that'll insta-gib your whole team. This is why the disorient is especially nasty. Some of the large mobs have hit boxes big enough to be more forgiving though.
I genuinely enjoy this team. That being said they do hit some really, really annoying walls as far as mechanics at times. So many dead keystones.... Still, beats playing a team that is "strong", but I can't stand. ;)
Your last quote, playing a team you like is the most important part I think.
That's what has prevented me so far in my theorycrafting about the paladins is the dead keys.
The group penalty on each mob per wowhead is ~115% to ~120% which is actually massive. A full 5 man crew is doing the work of 6.
When you throw in the visual diarrhea and the constant re positioning required these are just not going to be fun to 5 box. Even 2 box will be rather challenging as 2 will be doing the work of 2.5 potentially.
I guess if you want assaults to go faster then more is better but that's about it. To me anyway it makes sense to LFG the assault and solo or dual box the vision.
