I'll prob be going totem of wrath glyph for pve, but im tossing up glyph of thunder or even glyph of elemental mastery for pvp. I'm not sure if 2% crit is all that great, maybe for pvp it is for for pve it sure isn't. Hell, maybe even glyph of stoneclaw totem
Since this is a PvP thread, I'll mention that the 3 arena glyphs you need are: Lava, Shocking, Thunder (thunderstorm is slightly debatable.. I feel its mandatory however). They arent changing with the patch so they will remain the same.
Some new options for the PVE folks tho, so thats good :)
Non-arena question: Why is glyph of lava always recommended? I'm in crappy gear (1400ish SP unbuffed) and 5x lava burst is like 35k damage. Add 5k for the flame shock and why would you worry about 10% more SP on lava burst? Seems like you'd get more use out of the CL glyph.
Hmm I completely forgot about the Thunderstorm glyph, well that solves that dilemma! haha.
Quick question - Isn't glyph of thunderstorm basically 2% extra mana back but no longer knocks folks back.
I rely on Thunderstorm to push people away from me - am i missing something as to why this is a must have?
Interesting I only see one on WoWHead =(
I found glyph of thunderstorm - minor glyph, increased mana back at the expense of the loss of knock back.
A more recent glyph, Glyph of Thunder, appears to be a major glyph that reduces the cooldown on Thunderstorm by a lovely 10 seconds, with as far as I could see with no negative effect.
Now I understand exactly how lovely that would be.
OMG how did I not know of this glyph! =(
