Aion Legion anyone ? (guild)

I'm now pretty much set on the second one of the pair to be Cleric - but I'm still hesitating between Templar, Glad or Assassin for the first/lead...

We also need to pick some west server...

I might be rolling on the Siel server, which is west. Got into a pretty hard core guild (at least they say they are).

Which guild is it ? I heard bad things about some guilds who picked siel which is why I was thinking of avoiding that server

so that leaves Ariel Kaisinel Vaizel Yustiel... I'm edging toward Ariel (unless they label that one as RP next) though that one being the first one alphabetically maybe that's an issue or Vaizel as the others are hard to spell :-)

I'm up for playing Elyos. I played in the beta a couple months back and it had some nice features. I won't be boxing, but I'll level a char up and contribute what I can. I'm in Cali, so a server that is close to me is prefered, time zone is less of an issue unless I start raiding or doing whatever the end game is.

Well sadly they have US West coast timezone servers but physically all the servers are on the east coast (!) maybe they'll move the ones labeled west some day... This being said it's still important to pick the right server because apparently some forteress will only be attackable during "prime time" (yet to be defined exactly) which is a big impact on PVP end game. That's why I will roll on a West Server (Aloriel or Vaizel, unless I can get convinced that Siel will not be a zerg fest)

The guild switched to Azphel (East Coast server). I think this whole "you can only attack at certain time" thing sucks. I've been hearing that it is a 24/7 thing where every 2 hours a couple forts before attackable and then i hear that only at certain times you can attack.

If it is at certain times then this is going to be an epic fail for aion. Reason is that everyone and there neighbor will be playing at fort times and after the fort are won, everyone will log and the game will be a ghost town. Well the good thing is that there will be tons of people for ap. Just think if WG was only 2 times a day instead of 2 hours, but then again wow is more pve then pvp focus.

Going to be running with 2 sorcerer, rather then spirt and sorc. I think that the over power pew pew will be better then kite kill (plus heard to play a spirt to the max you need full focus on that toon).

Speaking of SM: there is good news: the pets can fly in upcoming patch seen in the K version

Preselection is in less than 24h now... I need to pick a server ! Vaizel or Siel or Aloriel... choices choices...

ie 4pm-midnight server time is "prime time" that definitively rules out East servers for me as my time is
9pm-1am PST (that'd be midnight-4am east) so for me even 4pm-9pm on east will be lost... maybe I should roll on oceanic :-)

Ok given we have so few people here currently interested in Aion - I decided that for now at least to apply to a guild that looked on the surface reasonable - feel free to join it too - if eventually we have many people we can maybe do a d-b community legion.
