WoW shaman, this at us

I thought it was immensely better than the garbage he usually writes comics about, dealing with the drama in his RL.

IMO, directly applying his real-life experiences to a comic and putting some kind of punch line on it does not make a good comic. In fact, I think it degrades the real-life experience in a way. And the ones without a punch line... the ones that seem to just be a cathartic endeavor... those should just never have been uploaded.

I wasn't offended by this particular comic, either. Mostly because I don't 32-box with shamans. I just 2-box :P

The people who say that they're offended by the comic remind me of the scientologists that get mad at anyone who says anything remotely close to bad about them/scientology

Oh hell! Grow up man. Just because someone said they were offended by something doesn't mean they're upset or about to kick open a door and start shooting. Please don't attempt to place more emphasis on throw away comments.

Yes, we were offended because the comic took a stab at one of us, but not nearly as much as you think. Some folks happen to like Prepared. He seems to be pretty cool and level headed. He doesn't fuck with anybody. If that comic referred to Sam Deathwalker however then so what? Comics in general are designed to get a reaction whether it be a laugh or a chuckle, or anger or disgust. We came, we saw, and some of us didn't like PART of it. No biggie. That doesn't mean we were jumping around and screaming like Tom Cruise after we read it. It got some kind of a reaction which more than the usual indifference the bad strips at CTRL+ALT+DEL receive.

Hey, I'm not upset or something. I really can laugh about things I do or if someones making jokes about what I say, or if I make a stupid mistake and someones calling it up again. I see there no Problem.

I didn't say it wasn't funny or something (hey I lol'ed^^). For me the comic was in the end result of reading it completely just too offensive. I mean 50% of it is just offensive stuff, ok sometimes I like something like that, but there's a border for me, that's been slightly overcome (hope that makes sense).

I don't find the comic offensive in any way. I just think that referring to Prepared as a douchebag is like the pot calling the kettle black. Except that instead of a kettle, its a nice new white plastic electric jug.

Or in much simpler terms: "Douchebag? NO U LOL"

Maybe I don't get it but in what way did he refer to Prepared? I don't see it as anything to do with multiboxing, I think you're reading too much into it and the only way to be offended would be if you're so vain that you assume it's about you.

Prepared doesn't seem to be the sort to have such a big ego - maybe it was actually a dig at Sam Deathtalker

Prepared should be flattered for being mentioned in that web comic :)

The last frame where it says. "You're going to get not one, not two, but thirty-six wow shamans, just like that other d******."

Keys from that are: 36 and "that other" meaning one single person who has 36 shaman.

If he would have left off the very last part "just like that other d*****" I don't think anyone would care, and it would have been more funny because it's like the real commercial.

I find it silly to be offended by the fact that someone took a stab at Prepared. I'm more concerned with his crummy art and hackneyed writing. Sad thing is his comics are invariably better when someone applies the CAD rule or edits them in to 3 panels.
