Horizontal Span vs Dual View on nvidia

Exactly. Vista doesn't require you to use Horizontal span, thus why you dont see the options. :-)

There's no such thing as horizontal span on Vista, the fixes in DX10 for dual view make it unnecessary.

Are both your displays the same native resolution? (2x 1280x1024, 2x 1680x1050, etc) If they're two different sized monitors, like mine at 1920x1200 & 1680x1050, dual-view is the only useful mode.

if i have a 24" and a 17" will horizontal span still work?

run WOW-1 on current primary display

step-2

switch current primary display to 2nd display ( while first wow session is running )

run WOW-2

done.

both wows will be using full speed of the videocard.

So If I have a dx9 card, running dual view on vista is chewing up my FPS? do I need to reinstall XP?
