heroics have pwned me too.
heroics were (or are) killing me too.
I had to go with a resto shaman... the difference here was so huge I was stunned.
the first couple of pulls were always a team wipe until I found out how hex works.
hex has such a short range it's unbelievable but I have learned to target a different mob with each of my shaman (for hex) and to use the target=focus-target for dmg casts
As long as I minimize chain lightning hex rarely breaks before i want it to.
I put Titansteel Guardians on all of my shaman ( which has +490 spell until they nerf it ) and I enchanted them for more spell dmg.
I had to buy a lot of Titansteel @ roughly 275-300G per bar but it seems to have been well worth it.
now the trash mobs are pretty simple... I still find the bosses incredibly hard, i've only cleared the first two in Utguard but i'm getting there. I'm pretty pround of my 3 badges :)

I have Titansteel Guardians as well. I did a huge Spellpower upgrade last night (Spellpower to Weapon, Legs, bracers, and got a new helm) Going to change my gloves and put the spellpower enchant on them as well and hopefully this will be enough to help.
I got 5 badges so far, but the going is slow. I'm not sure what Heroic badge item I should get first?
Also maybe I should try fighting him in the 2nd room as well. I never actually thought about this having my DPS/Healer standing on the piles of bones with my Tank down below. My only concern is wouldn't the time for him to get to my tank be bad? When I normally could be DPSing him already, won't the snakes spawn at the same time and therefore more will be up before I even have a change to start DPS?
Also for the hex I really don't use it, although I probably should on the 4-5 Humanoid/Best mobs but its the range that kills me on it. It totally sucks ass.
