My name is Sajuuk, and I stole my name from Homeworld 2.
I did a google on Vyndree and it asked 'did I mean vandree?'
Search on Vandree lists a forgotten realms character from some sourcebook
Maybe vyndree isn't as original as you think it is
But then whose names are?
my last name is Merujo, and i've used it for a long time now in online gaming. it's a portuguese word for sailor, but, bad writen (the good one is Marujo)
couple years ago i found an american lady uses merujo as her nickname. she has a domain, even the freaking blogspot :P
www.merujo.com
/cry
Did it not came to anyone's mind that it's possible that out of the 16 million people that played wow, there are 2 or more people who come up with the same name?
Some of the names do not require that much creativity? :/
No offense, just pointing it out.
tbh...
1. who cares? ;)
take a look at the trade channel in WoW, how much creativity can you expect from these guys? :)
2. the dogs always hunt the one with the bone.
looks like someone wants to be like you, imitating is always the first step in creativity.
you start with imitating something and after that you start modifiying it to create your own thing.
just take it as a compliment.
did someone say goatse?Quote:

I first used Zanthor as a name of a D&D character (not AD&D) in 1980 when I was 8 years old... By the time I was 11 I had the name registered on a half dozen BBS's (For you young pups, the interwebs wasn't always around ;)) and a few years later He-Man had introduced a character named Zanthor some of it's cartoons...
When I started playing UO (1996) I created a character named Zanthor to be a great swordsman... ended up not knowing anything about game mechanics I failed epicly... I heard you could make good money as a tailor by killing bunnies and kitties and skinning them, making armor and selling it to the vendor so I created Travis and told all my friends he was Travis T. Tailor... just figured I'd earn enough gold to help out Zanthor... never ended up working. Apparently killing all those bunnies and kitties turned Travis into a great swordsman... anyhow, back to EQ in Beta 4 I created Zanthor and Band of the Black Hand, this time successfully... and he's been my main since.
Back when I started using Zanthor as a name on the internet I never had trouble registering for sites using it... as time has passed it's become all to popular and in many cases I've had to take other names to register... The first thing I try when a site tells me the name already exists is a password recovery, half the time it works :).
