i love the world pvp i've had while leveling, where there's a small group of alli trying to get the best of me. good times.
I always come across more negative reactions on low level characters than high level ones.
i actually come across more negative reactions from high level characters, and more curiosity from low level characters. high levels have that animosity from being torn apart by a boxer in bg's, and the majority of the time, there's nothing you can do to convince them you're not doing anything wrong.... even though you just KNOW that given the chance, (i.e. 5 accts paid for, the hardware to do it) they would multibox in a heartbeat.Quote:

Well I try to help out but a lot of times its like why even bother? If the person is going to be a tool afterword's, for the most part if I see some one 1 on 1 I let them be I will only help you if you get some one trying to jump you, and all I will do is heal you so that you have a good chance to come out victorious if you don't its on you, I only provide the opportunity if you chose not to use it oh well. But if your getting ganked by multiple guys I try and help if I can.
Yesterday I am leveling and I am just going to tag mobs, I am doing nothing to the hordie and what does he do? Well he attacks me, and I have to retaliate and I kill him, afterwords here comes a 70 to help out the one guy that decided that he wanted to kill a multiboxer. /sigh I got camped for a bit, and I am not stupid I harted no point in wasting time if your just gonna get camped. I come back and same guy is there, so before he takes my team down I burn him down to about 60% well he kind of figured out that he would probably die and he left me alone, I run into another 70 and he attacks me, I unloaded on him and even with 1 guy going down and team feared I blasted him. HIs bad for messing with a lv 62 with 3 guys in tow :).
I used to run into this kind of problem alot especially in pre-outland zones when I would come across a bored 70 helping a lowbie friend get through some quests who generally decides to alleviate his boredom by turning me into corpses.Quote:

My answer: Nuke the lowbie or even better every enemy lowbie in sight before you get killed by the 70, die and do it again. Basically you let everyone around you know "sure this guy can kill me, but I'm taking each one of you bystanders with me, enjoy the corpse run". Most often the guy playing the lowbie who keeps getting one shotted by you will get sick of dying repeatedly and get his 70 friend to go somewhere else in search of easier grinding. Leaving you free to quest in peace :)
People usually get more upset over PVP issues. I have very few negative comments on a PVE server, which I play on because I simply can't stand random world PVP. I do tend to ignore negativity, but I always explain that the followers aren't bots and don't involve hacking if someone suggests that.

Yeah its a bit rougher on PVP server, biggest reason I am not 70 yet lots of camping and corps runs kills leveling time, though I have lots of fun on the server since lots of people I play with are on there. And I have been with the current guild for a very long time and it would suck to go establish yourself elsewhere though it would probably not be to rough. 70's seem to love to camp me until I give them reason not to, which is to almost kill them or outright kill them :)
I've always been a loyal Horde member, you know FOR THE HORDE! and all that.
When I'm running around QD, the world, etc, if I see a single alliance (level 70 or not), I pretty much leave them alone. Usually if I see more than 1 together they attack me anyway so I own them, but if they leave me alone I'll usually leave them alone, until theres 3+ of them...
Now, when I'm on QD, etc, if I see an ally kill a horde, ESPECIALLY if its while the horde is killing a monster, I will own the hell out of the ally and then camp him for awhile. I get a lot of Horde friends this way...these days when I'm questing on the isle, I usually get people /cheering as soon as I show up or saying things like "YAY! The cavalry has arrived!" etc, since I help everyone out so much.
I also use 5x earth shock as I'm passing by every other horde fighting something, just to make their kill go faster. People always thank me and I'm getting quite a friendly reputation on the Horde side now. Most of the alliance seem to be OK with me too since I don't go around ganking single alliance members at all unless they deserve it.
I'll leave people that are lower in levels than me alone; I wont hesitate to kill people that are level 70 though. It usually takes an organized, concentrated effort to kill my 10 characters, so I always applaud those who can do it. Case in point, last night I was running around capturing the towers in HFP, I killed a couple random allys and a Fel Reacer on the way to the towers... but then something happened; I realized that I had been dual stun locked, and was being attacked by something else... I quickly turned around only to see a hill full of alliance members firing down on me. I don't think I've ever seen that many alliance members at once, ever, LoL. There had to be at allys in double-digit figures attacking me. Alas, I died - more power to people who organize and destroy those of us who only play 1 char. :D
I don't really worry too much about etiquette in my travels. If they're level 70 and on the Alliance side, they die. It's simple. I have had several Alliance members hop over to their horde characters to send me tells after I kill them like, "WTF? how many characters do you have?" Stuff like that :). :thumbsup:
