Unless you plan on making your pally a pvp healer he only needs the marks for the +damage mace. Thats a good tank weapon for him. I dont bring my pally to bg's because he is my tank. I never plan on using him for anything else. In wsg I had the best luck doing the following; Killing everyone on the alliance side of the map middle, taking my group into their base and nuking everyone, and camping their graveyard. This usually allowed the others to get the flag and cap it. Sometimes I would take the flag and run it back but I prefer to kill everyone. Try dropping the pally and playing the 4 dps. You only need 50 wsg marks.
In AB I would start off by going to LM. It seemed like alliance always went there but never in a super large group. I could kill them and move to stables. The win % in our bg for ab at 59 is pretty high. I cant count how many 5 caps we had. I would try never to stay at a base unless it was stables. With my 4 guys it was too easy to kill them. Most of the game I am running from node to node nuking them. Sometimes alliance just plain gave up. Also, you will notice horde usually start ab with more people at that lvl on our bg. It makes it much easier to 5 cap.
So you don't put the S2 resilience gear on your tank at 70? I apologize for the stupid questions as I've never played a pally before. It would certainly be easier to just play 4 shaman in WSG, that's for damn sure.Quote:

Given what we are starting to see with WOTLK gear, do you guys think it still makes sense to bank honor tokens for some point in the future? I'm having good success in AB at 59...or should I just get out and level like crazy to make 70 in time for wotlk and do the tokens some other time?
I think you got plenty of time to get some gear and tokens tbh.
LOL No I dont tank with pvp gear. I use PVE gear to tank with. Here is a good site for pally tanks http://maintankadin.failsafedesign.com/Quote:
