when I played that on pservers I was only using whirlwind in berserker stance (as 2h fury) and manually cleaving if more than half the warriors were above ~50 rage. Also, if your healer can manage it, dont do thunderclap either. In pre raid bis gear (as far as I got) it was hell of fun to play with the shaman totem twisting for extra 4% crit inbetween windfury and 4x hand of justice, dw (flurry axe in OH) and 7% hit thats where this combo is really going to wreck shit. If you ever get that to t2,5 gear and have some healers in your back and bags full of free action potion you have instant r14 :D



ok good to know this works, its quite funny I'm already way past 50 and I can still keep up with frostmage damage over the course of an entire brd run as an enhancement shaman with that damn weapon. I also made some mistake earlier weapon imbues flametongue/frostbrand can procc of it except windfury. Makes me wonder if warriors do better with flametongue totem then once they got the spin going.

There is definitely a case to be made for using ravager all the way to 60, IF you are pulling >4 mobs at a time reliably, AND can control the threat. I gave it a try, but either I wasn't patient enough, or without the perma snares of a mages, I just had trouble controlling threat with a single warrior in defensive stance. One warrior would pull agro, spike to 600-700 dps, and die, and then someone else would die and wipe :)

If you're cleaving, aka using your rage on WW, you're still doing decent aoe damage. It's just that one warrior will snowball, they do a little more damage, get more threat, take more damage, build more rage, etc.

Also, yes, if I knew what I knew now about the speed/limitations of multiboxed warrior cleave, I'd have done probably 1 warrior, 3 ranged, 1 priest or paladin. If you want level speed, do mages. If you want sit back and face roll one pack at a time, hunters or warlocks.

Since my Warriors are only in their early 30s I frankly still feel like a newb... In vanilla I mainly healed Warriors so I am a little like a fish out of water...

One advantage a melee-cleave by regular people may have is that each player can take aggro on a given mob to build their own rage and get enrage procs from. They can then bring their mobs together in the center and everyone's cleave damage helps each other while everyone is still getting enrage procs. Multi-boxing with Warriors doesn't work like that (for me at least) as all the Warriors are focusing the same target and thus it is harder to get an even spread of incoming damage to boost all the Warriors...

I am starting to think that maybe for now instead of funneling damage to my lead warrior running Arms with my 2 slave Warriors running Fury maybe I should now actually be doing the opposite and instead funnel the incoming damage to my lead warrior running Fury and let the slaves be Arms (at least until level 40).

This could maybe turn a "random snowball" into a "controlled snowball" with the single Fury warrior monopolizing it but the other warriors still also getting decent consistent damage via Arms and Sweeping Strikes...

From at least level 30 to 40 I could just plan on making my lead "the designated snowball" and get him initial "sight" aggro by charging in first and then have him do the shout(s) to solidify aggro and feed him the enrage procs to power his death wish. At 40 the incoming damage should proc both enrage & blood craze and he can funnel the rage into flurry & bloodthirst on top of death wish... The slave warriors would be a little more subtle follow-charging in after (& thus not getting initial sight aggro) and not shouting but then popping sweeping strikes & switching to Beserker (and when I get to 36 start using whirlwind).

From 30 to 40 their specs would be something like:

Lead "snowball" Warrior: 30 ... 40;

Follow Warriors: 30 ... 40;

I realize that once I get towards cap at level 60 that each Warrior will have portions of both Arms and Fury and can sorta have the best of each and maybe then just let things ideally ping-pong (and snowball if they must) but up till level 40 you can really only max one tree...

Thoughts?

I am tired so maybe that is a stupid idea but I figured I should put it down "on paper" before I go to bed in case I forget when I get up...

I started 10 Shamans, 3 days ago, and I'm level 18 atm. I only do dungeons for the quests in it, and level up by questing, wich is really fun.
I can't stand the dungeon grinding especially with 10 toons, and leveling by questing is not that slow, I've been making around 12k exp\hour, wich is not bad at all considering I'm using 2 teams of 5 toons each at the same time.

I gave up at level 10 - mainly because made toons on one of the new severs and all my friends are on the main PVP server (EU Shaz).

Currently in two minds what to do, thinking grind my retail BFA alliance 10x DH team (as I have no alliance) so I can kill Horde I don't like :O

The item pickup in classic was just so painful for me, not sure how others finding it but to get 12 belts and 8 snouts that's 200 kills, more like 220/230 with the RNG. I just get tooo bored considering I don't know how end game is going to be.

One thing is for sure, wPvP is DEAD on usual wPvP areas in BFA retail because of Classic :D

I am leveling 10 toons at once by questing and all you gotta do is SKIP all the collecting quests, except the ones that require 1 item.
Im 18.5 now and it’s been really fun.

I'm leveling as 4 Enhance Shamans and am level 51 at the moment. It has seemed good so far, grinding instances for SM gear. My main issue is I'm worried if maybe Elemental would be better now. Has anyone toyed around with Enhance vs Elemental at 40+?

Anyone have thoughts about 60 PvP as Enhance vs Elemental multiboxing too?

Are you at least able to get into SM consistently (even if boring)?

I can get in SM but if it's not at 8am in the morning expect a constant group of horde waiting at the instance. They kill you a few times running up but lucky the graveyard is close.

Level 34 on my Paladin, Priest, 3 Mages. Almost 7 days playtime, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Given that I read quests and enjoy the game, I do about 3-4 levels a day now. AoE pulls are fun, and the tougher single mobs are where I have trouble.

elemental is gonna be much better, more reliable and if you somehow get your hands on t1,5 gear you outrange every class with lightningbolt

It'll be hard to justify more than 2pc ZG tier raiding as a resto shaman. Especially since the neck and the trinket are so trash. I was really hoping enhancement would be viable with some stun weapons. I trust your analysis though on it's viability. Do you think I should stay enhance at least until I'm 60?

My main concerns was dealing with Melee at 60. Maybe I underestimate dagger + flametongue and shock at 60 against slippery LoSing melee.
