Firebomb + Ghost Bomb is also supposed to have a really high LoH coefficient, and it has a large radius like Acid Cloud.
For the geared WD's, what's your dps looking like on the paper doll? Always torn to try these guys out but I enjoy the dps that my monks do. Though I don't do as much when I have to kite which WD have to do less of :P
I wouldn't class myself as 'geared' yet :) problems with belial inferno - he can one shot my crew with a double hand slap..
Not sure whether to grind Act 2 elites or Act 1 (i don't actually know a good route for Act 2..)
If you're getting slapped by Belial, swap to splinters and only commit to one or two shots between your movement. I found the WD casting animations to be too long to try and dps him normally phase 3, before moving add haunt for a dps filler.Quote:

I got legendary helms for all my crew, I've been picking them up for about 1-4mil with crit to acid cloud, chance to crit and mana regen - comes with about 84 int.

I was doing this (gearing up a WD), but when I hit 51 I ran out of steam and I'm not interested in playing anymore. I do have some nice things that were waiting for me at 60( I wanted to beat this guys top crit.) I might return, but I've farmed the shit outta this game and can't do it anymore.

It's all about looking for deals on the AH - my gear was either farmed or bought for pretty cheap. The most expensive was probably the weapon for maybe 8 mil or something and the offhand for 1-2 mil. I doubt I spent more than that on all the other stuff combined. Maybe 30 mil or so for all my guys total.
When I get on, or finish farming, or get bored I search on:
Gloves with 4 stun, belts with 4 freeze, mojos with 8 crit and mana regen, helms mana regen, int and vit etc...
or whatever I know I need to upgrade.
You come across crazy deals from time to time, just buy them. It just takes a bit of time.
Also, just start farming Act I, you'll find upgrades all the time if you have crappy gear. The one thing I hardly ever found upgrades on was ceramoninal dagger and mojo. Gloves, boots, bracers, helms, shoulders, rings, amulets etc... drop a ton, so you'll find upgrades or stuff that will sell well.
A good pair of gloves can increase your DPS by 10k - here are a couple I just happened to still have in my stash thing.

Definitely what Kicksome said on gear, just takes patience looking at the auction house - which is difficult because their search system needs more options.
We need some kind of boss I think for a barometer on kill speed - maybe Siegebreaker or even Butcher. I realize the videos you made were quite a while ago and the kill speed is much faster now. Currently I am farming act 2 on my monks with ease and slowly upgrading while building my gold chest. I swap to MF gear right before the kill which am concerned about when they switch it so you can't do that anymore (haven't stated how they are going to change it yet).
The nice part on WD's with this setup is you don't have to focus too much on resists because the monsters should be hypothetically locked down.
Which presents its own longevity issue. Blizzard has been nothing if not consistent in nerfing things that they consider too 'easy.' I look for them to add an internal cooldown on stuns/freezes/etc. eventually.Quote:

If you need a specific slot upgrade, I tend to have several decent pieces for each slot available on mules waiting to be auctioned for gold. Just pm me, I unload stuff at bargain prices to clear up bank slots. On a side note - In regards to the other thread with Klesh discussing using more than 1 account for the rmah, i would recommend against it. I looked into it after that thread and read several posts stating people have been begun getting banned and funds siezed for using the rmah "as an investment vehicle" as per some new wording in the blizzard eula. Penalized for selling too many items over the course of a period. You may more than likely get instantly flagged by selling on two or more accounts tied to the same personal information.
With the very few pieces that I have managed to find through inferno farming good enough for the rmah, i have sold and used the funds to buy gold with it to further advance my gear.
I forsee blizzard coming back and tweaking what they consider a hit on skills that currently hit often and are used in conjunction with cc, to make things proc less. It probably will be around pvp time, if not before then - definitely the moment the first MB team perma stuns a player. :cool:
Currently some encounters and elite packs serve as a check vs cc builds throughout inferno.

I've been farming act three for a while now, before the pet buff I was doing the freeze/stun build like everyone else farming act three. Currently I use two builds and so far enjoy the burst of bears depending on which pack I'm fighting.
Build one:
Firebomb/Ghost Bomb
Zombie Dogs/Leeching Beasts
Spirit Walk/Healing Journey
Soul Harvest/Vengeful Spirit
Gargantuan/Humongoid
Big Bad Voodoo/Slam Dance - Round the Robin of coarse.
Passives:
Spirit Vessel
Gruesome Feast
Pierce the Veil
Build two: Switch Soul Harvest for Zombie bears
I normally don't like using zombie bears due to how situational they can be versus the range of Ghost bomb, but I always have ghost bomb in case it's a pack that doesn't want me close to it :P.
All of my characters are very well balanced at roughly 65k dps unbuffed 576 lowest resist 27k hp roughly.
When I'm not farming act 3 I throw on four goldskins four Thing of the deeps, gold/gold find socket helm and destroy act one. The gold is pretty nice for the less focused grind.
I've played with grave injustice/thing of the deeps but that passive isn't really worth the DPS loss.
With my passive build a 65k dps character gets up to 180k dps, using doorways/stair cases I rarely have to avoid anything, trash dies instantly and elite/rares are a matter of seconds.
I used to run Jungle Fortitude but learned avoidance from your self is a better habit than relying on a passive. It has payed off imensely now that act three I turn into a meat grinder :P.
-edit; I forgot to add I use Echoing Fury on each character, so basically Ghost Bomb Spam pretty much makes "everything" run the other direction, your pets will continue to keep them walled even in an open environment. If you use splinters one Echoing Fury can keep one target perma feared for the most part, ghost bomb seems to have a lower chance to proc the fear from my experiance, so I run four characters with it (socket crit damage of coarse).
so you dont use freeze/stun gear anymore? i havent realy played much on my WD's since 1.0.4 starting to level other classes to try out =D
Nope, pets keep things away, and if something gets too close it will end up getting feared and run the opposite direction of you. Four Echoing Fury's with at least 15% fear on each should do the trick. It's a nice weapon you can get 250 int on it easily 15%+ fear on hit and once you get more money you can upgrade to sockets and get a better damage out of it. I've been running this setup since the patch came out and have not really changed anything at all.Quote:
