[Addon] Jamba - An assistant for multiboxers. 34th Update - 0.7g released.

Okay, testing time. I made a brand new char to mess around and bam, my quest watcher worked. No teams, no setting anything up first, just made a new char. So I went back to test on my teams.

First I tried turning off all settings. Yeah, nothing can show up, not enabled and not shown. So I turned on the quest watcher "Enable Team Quest Watcher" and "Show Quest watcher" and bam, it showed up. Probably just like everyone else's does. So at least it can work, just need to find which setting is disabling it.

Found something. When I turn on "Show Completed Objectives as 'Done'" and "Hide Quests Completed by Team". Nothing shows up, even though I have a quest with 0/10 items tracked. The quest shows up as "Done" in Jamba's quest watcher.

Next I renamed my "Jamba-Quest Watcher.lua" file to a backup so there wasn't one. In the game, the quest watcher worked as expected, tracking correctly the quests that I marked in Blizzard's interface and the quantity of completeness. But when I pushed Just thee first three settings (enable, show and unlock), signed out and back in and the quests now show as "Done". So there is something that is getting pushed from the master to the slaves that gets messed up.

That looks like the problem I am having, "When I push the settings from the master to the slaves, something is marking the quests as 'Done'". So when my master has the Hide Done Quests and Show Completed as Done marked, all the quests just don't show up. That is what was happening before, nothing would show up.

Hope that helps describe what is happening enough to help figure out what I can do to make it work. Thanks.

Hullo. Thanks for the awesome add-on :) Just getting back into WoW after a hiatus and found this problem. Not sure if it's been reported already.

Problem: Experiencing very slight lag or graphics/movement stutter when casting spells, mounting, etc.

Testing: I had all other add-ons disabled except for Jamba and Jamba-Toon and the problem appears. When I disable Jamba-Toon but leave Jamba as the only add-on running, the stutter goes away.

My specs: HP Pavilion dv7-4029TX, CPU: Intel Core i7-720QM Processor, Video card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 1GB, RAM: 8GB DDR3, OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, all settings at default with no other programs installed except for Firefox 4 and nothing else running except for Innerspace/ISBoxer. Connected via Gigabit LAN using CAT6 to a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND Wireless N Gigabit Router, which is then connected to a D-Link DSL-G604T (Firmware: [latest] V3.02b01T01.AU) on an ADSL connection with an average speed of 6Mbps down and 0.32Mbps up tested via speedtest.net. Average in-game ping of 500ms playing in Proudmoore-US from Australia. Also tested with the TP-Link router bypassed, connected using CAT5 as well as CAT5e to the D-Link modem/router.

Not sure whats going on there. Jamba-Toon reponds to events, but its pretty light; will try and have a closer look for you soon.

Thanks Jafula. Can't rule out hardware issues as this is a laptop. I'll try and play without Jamba for now. Last known working version for me was 0.7d iirc.

recently, i've tried having only jamba and its modules as the only active addon and the only one present in the Interface folder as well as clearing out the WTF folder. hope someone can help :( im at a loss and can't box.

You are removing too much. Try installing Jamba using the curse client. You have also removed Jamba's settings as well by removing the WTF folder, so nothing is working.

Does anyone noticed that the "Show currency on master only upon start up" option is not working and that the currency is showing on all toons?

Yup, I noticed. What is interesting to me, is that all toons think that they are the master upon logging in. Something I'll need to fix!

Over the last week or so, I have been having a small issue with Jamba. All of my slaves put themselves first in the team list (and as master) instead of the order and correct master, which is remembered only on my main toon.
As a workaround, I have just been doing a

from my main to fix each time I load into WoW, but I would like to see if anyone has any insight what is going on.
I have even gone into the jamba.lua file in each account folder to look and all my characters show the correct order for the profile...so, I don't know why there is a difference.

Does anyone have a fix or know what is going on?

edit: thanks for moving my post to the correct place mod, sorry to cause you more work :) Also, I see that Jafula may be aware of the issue from the previous post in the right thread.

Is there a chance we can put mounts in the Item-use bar? I would help with abyssal seahorse (Vashj'ir) and for showing off (store bought mounts or achieved drakes).

Also is there a way to share macros across all teams. I really, really wanted a command for stuff were we can use /jamba-team LeaveBG or /jamba-team Hearth or /jamba-team Outfitter wear battleground. For now, I would settle for jamba-macros. I make them and thanks for making that part of Jamba,but I would have to make them for every team I have. It would be nice to have a way to make a slash command that we could add after a module and tell it what to type in when we use it on the main just like /jamba-team disband and /jamba-team invite. Or at least give us a way to make global macros that works across all teams.

I wanted to say that the guild bank repair feature is back working for me, would it be possible to clarify in the "Repair just cost me X gold" line whether that came from the guild bank? I've noticed that my toons repair whether there is gbank money for them or not (my guild master gave them a kind of low limit) and I'd like to know when that is occurring.

I just downloaded the latest version on curse. I'm having an issue where my master disbands the party immediately after inviting - both inviting as a group and inviting a toon solo. I tried creating the team from scratch, making a new profile, and reinstalling the addon. If I'm in a group already it doesn't disband, only immediately after inviting.

Any clue what's going on?

edit: I found the problem. there was a conflict with my ui that had an auto accept invites option. Turned that off and it appears to be working.

If you are using ISBoxer or some other mod that has invite capabilities there is a conflict with both trying to invite and you get an immediate disband of the party. I have this problem every time I start fresh and always never remember what I did to fix it. Just make sure only 1 addon is handling the invites.

Hello everyone!

So I decided that I would try my hand at dual-boxing and after a bit of research, I found your addon. It seems to have everything that I would want in it so yeah ...

The problem: I can push from my second account to my first but not the other way around. This -as I'm sure you can understand- is a pain. I've tried:

• Deleting Jamba (from both accounts) and reinstalling
• Deleting the Jamba saved variables from the WTF folder
• Running with JUST Jamba
• Changing the Jamba channel
• Copying saved variables from 2 to 1
• Enabling/Disabling just about every setting I could find

Neither the "Push Settings" button nor /jamba-team push does anything. If I click the "Push Settings for All Modules" button, it will act as if it's pushing however the second account doesn't move - nothing happens.

Any help would be amazing. This has been frustrating me all night. :(

Note: Curse.com is down for maintenance right now so I've yet to be able to delete/install from there. Could have sworn that I tried searching for it there last night but meh.

Is your first account set as master in Jamba-Team?

You need all your characters to be on the team list on every character. The information should be the same on every character you play.

What would be cool would be to set a max gold limit on characters, so everytime I use Jamba trade, they automatically trade the excess gold over to my master.

Not sure if possible at all but just an idea :)

I'm having a couple of issues with sections of Jamba I'd not used until recently:

Currency - I've got "open currency list on start up (master only)" set but the currency window is always shown on all windows. That option sounds like it should work like the Jamba Team window, which is only on the current master - is that right and it's just not hiding on my slaves?

Currency - from time to time I'll hit the Update button and although the individual team member values are correct it will have an incorrect total. It seems to sometimes count one or more of the chars money value twice.

Proc - I've only started using this recently with my Mage team, as I wanted to know when to fire off Arcane Missiles, but it very often misses procs on the slaves. I can see the blizzard aura prompt on the slave monitor and I will quite often only be prompted for 1 or 2 procs by jamba when I can see 3 or 4 Blizzard proc auras.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to debug the issues.

You shouldn't be using arcane missiles every time it procs anyway! Jamba is saving you from yourself.

I'm not going to get to work on a 4.2 version until the weekend (about 3 days away), so please be patient. Feel free to report any new bugs here that arise from 4.2.

having problem with jamba profile copying. ive just made a profile on my main and called it teamelite then i saved it and restarted all my games, but when i log back in the profile isnt showing up on toon 2,3,4 and 5 it only shows for the toon i created it on

The profiles don't copy. You have to make them on each toon. When you push settings, the settings will go into the current profile on each toon. So, yes, you are going to have to do them manually on each toon.

Just copy the files from your main's SavedVariables to your slaves. IIRC, Jamba's files save to

World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME\SavedVariables

Same goes for other addon settings as well. I did this with my main's setup for 'MoveAnything' and 'Bartender4'. You can also copy over the macro txt file from one toon to another. Just go into that toon's sub folder under the WTF file you want to copy from and paste it into the slave's or alt toon's sub folder. I even do this for new toons I create when starting over on new realms to play with friends. Saves me alot of time.

I've tried to do this for you, but the game api won't tell you whether or not the repair was successful when repairing. Basically the system will calculate a total repair cost when you open the merchant up and that repair cost wont change until you leave the merchant; even if you are all repaired.

Sorry, I really did try, but the wow api just won't support what we want to do.

Sure thing; I have added this to Jamba-Trade for the next release. The option is called "Trade excess gold from master to slave" and you enter the amount of gold you want to keep on the slaves.
