There seems to be a phase/follow issue for me when trying this. Might just be me. I have the fast mounts and I 'lurch' every few seconds because the plane is slow but just before coming into the village, invariably, all team members lose their "follow."Quote:

To fix this I hop in the turret on the main and, since the plane flys slow, I run the other 4 upto the point the plane enters the village (after the point I normally lose the main) and THEN I start following my main.
Team members 3, 4, and 5 all follow 2. When 1 comes into the village on his plane I have 2 right click 1 and select follow. My normal follow macro doesn't seem to work when member 1 is in the turret (and many other vehicles).
EDIT: I now pick up Ground Assault & Air Assault at the same time, kill up the hill on ground assault completing the kill quest at the same time, then the saronite mine quest, then I fly all my toons up near the first turret you see when doing the Air Assault quest and leave them there while main toon flies down to pick up the plane. As soon as MainToon flies into phase I do the /follow MainToon (just a quick extra button I put on Macaroon).
Just streamlining.
If you /follow focus, you'll have to reset focus when you mount vehicles. ;)
I also do the 'Infragreen' bombing quests. The first one is quick, the second one I just let my planes burn to end faster ( you land in a rescue plane and are flown back).
The thing that has worked for me to get everyone "sync'd" in the planes at the same time is to make everyone stand exactly on top of each other and then open the dialog on each and then typing into chat "/script SelectGossipOption (1)" - I have Jamba - but typing this little bit into the chat while standing on each other has net me the 'sync' everytime for the last week (since I started doing it).
It becomes too much of a pain if you cannot or have trouble "sync'ing"
I do the bomber quests too. When I get in the plane I put all 4 slaves on bommer mode and have each one look in a diff direction. Forward, left, right and back. on my main, I man the flak gunn and just spam away. The slaves will bomb in a wide pattern like that and easily get all your ground objectives as my main keeps everyone alive from the gargoyals and undead drakes. 13g and 16g x5 are the rewards if i recall correctly.
I also do Not a Bug (Thassarian)
The trick is have all team members use the Rod of Siphoning (via a multiplexed key) at the same time, and you will loot Dark Matter on each toon, meaning only 5-6 kills are necessary. This little trick only works if all characters use the item simultaneously and are standing on top of each other. I kill the NPC then the void walker. My main takes 2 steps back so all 5 are in the same spot. Use the Rod and all 5 get the quest item (Dark Matter)
This quest is great to put in there, its fast and you're already in the area doing "Retest Now"and "No Rest for the Wicked".
I also do King of the Mountain ( It's pvp but I'm on a normal server and never seen anyone) It's not multibox friendly but I can do it 5 times in like 3-4 mins. I just spam the "jump" and the left mouse click. I do it after "Slaves to Saronite" and kill a few more Ymirheim Vrykul on the way to it to finish up "Blood of the Chosen" ( If you're on a normal server, try this one)
I gave up and no longer do That's Abominable It bugs out and I don't get credit for mobs I blow up. What are you guys doing that makes this work (getting credit for the kills) and is fast? The comments on wowhead.com are helpful but I can't get this down to be reliable and fast.
When the The Argent Tournament Expands in the upcoming major content patch, Call of the Crusade They said we would get new dailies. I hope they're good to us.
Again thanks for this Multibox Daily Quest Guide. 5 stars!
Tried this today on the second bombing run (the long one). Still wouldn't sync. Think I'm done trying to sync that one.Quote:

On Thats Abominable quest where you use your fleshbag to blow up guys its quite easy once you get the hang of it. Biggest reason your not getting quest credit is you are out of range when you blow him up. Charging to the back of the mobs and detonating wont work well. What I do is stand near the Left or far right of the area and back a good pace or two. Summon the guy, put him on passive and target a guy on the frount line near the center of the encampment. Hit the attack button and he goes charging off. I then target a guy on the line thats right in frount of me, and move up to where I can cast on them (30yards). Once the fleshbag gets to his first target I hit the knockdown fart thing and press the attack button on the guy in frount of me, fart a few more times and he will usaly pull about 12-18 mobs as he charges through the frount lines. As soon as he gets to the new target, I wait about 2 seconds to let stragglers catch up and boom. Corpse parts go flying. Takes me 4 tries most of the time to get 15 of each kill. The last one more often than not is just to get like 2-3 of one type of mob im missing. Ive only managed about twice to get it all in 3 explosions.
/taps foot patiently. ;)Quote:
Yep - working on that today, actually, though it will probably be a few weeks before it's completely ready. I'll likely overhaul the guide at that point and break it into 3 elective, independent questing circuits rather than one big one (it's already up to 18 quests, and may run past 25 with the Argent Tournament stuff).
First let me say that this is an awesome guide - thanks Chilkoot and all the contributors !I get this quest done in 1 or 2 explodes. I loot the chilled abomination guts, and mount up all my toons. I run straight into the camp (toons on follow) and round up as many as I can while running in circles (they are tethered) ... when it looks like I've got enough, I dismount and immediately summon and explode the abomination. If I don't get them all the first time, I'm only missing 2-3 and a second pull will easily finish it. I've rounded up so many mobs that when I exploded the abomination i've actually had all 5 toons disconnected from the server  ... My pally takes barely any damage while rounding them up, and even a squishy should be able to round up the required amount of mobs to dismount+summon+explode.Quote:

*EDIT* this (or a compiled ver of this) should be a sticky!
Im going to try that tonight after work.
My set of dailies looks a bit different, but after i did them today I took a ss of how long it took, and how much gold i made, now remember that this is gold made just on that toon, so its x5 :P
I also took a 10 min afk, and forgot to stop the timer.
ps. I'm using model change, so all my draenei look like BEs.

When I accepted all (at the exact same time), my main took off, and the rest got a console message: "Please wait for your flight window". The toons were auto mounted in the plane about 10 seconds apart from each other.
*EDIT* looks like i'm getting a "Flight Orders " debuff that may have something to do with it
For this quest (No Rest for the Wicked), i have both looted all the artifacts on the toons and combined the books (only using 1 to summon) and looted all artifacs and NOT combined the books (except on my main). It seems the artifacts are lost at logout and I have to gather new ones each day.Quote:
TIP: In No Rest for the Wicked, pick up Alumenth's artifacts from the chests on all 5 characters to create Alumenth's Remains. This will allow you to bypass the room trash on your next 4 visits. (ty Heffner!)
Overall though, this is a great guide. I'm still on the free 60% flyers from Honest Max and this circuit takes me about 2hrs to do, with 3/4 of the other quests thrown in, and i'm close to 300g on each.
That's Abominable!
Worst... Quest... Ever.
It takes typically 3 explosions for me to get all the credit I need... when I actually get credit.
No matter what I try, at least half the time I won't get credit for any of the kills. I could be standing right on top of my Abom when it blows up and still not get credit. I could pull ONE mob and blow it up and still not get credit. It's still in my daily grind but it gets skipped if I spend more than a few minutes on it. It amazes me when people say they don't have any problems with this quest, especially since I ran into the same problem in Zul'Drak doing the explosion quest there.
One trick to rounding the mobs up easily is to summon your abomination, then mount up. Fly around over the area and your abomination will follow you on the ground, aggro'ing everything along the way. If you are on an epic flyer, your abomination won't get hit the whole time. Once you have a bunch, drop down to the ground, dismount and explode.
On "That's Abominable," I gather them with the pally by going in circles til it looks like I have enough, dismount, consecrate, shield up and move towards the shammies, summon the abom and fart once or twice, then wait for the mobs to get up and start hitting me (or the abom) again before I asplode mr blob. i do the gathering technique above because some mobs leash (?). in any case, its a fun quest that i like doing on my daily roundup!
This quest and the ZD one were horrendously frustrating, and I nearly gave up on them when I did it on my main way back when.Quote:

I finally realized that you can't won't get credit for blowing them up while they are stunned on the ground, you have to wait until they are fully standing to get credit. You also need to be fairly close (within 10 yds or so). It changes from an exercise in frustration to actually being pretty easy when done this way, though it's still pretty annoying and I can't imagine this is what was intended.
I do almost everything in Icecrown, except the PvP quest from Orgrim's Hammer and the two or three air attack ones (infragreen, and Ymirheim). There are some nice suggestions in this thread for doing the air attacks though; gonna hafta try that.
King of the Mountain is a pleasant-enough quest when nobody else is around. This one's hard on multiboxers. I'm in the habit of rocketing flagged players as soon as I see them but, to date, I never get the drop on anyone before three or four of my toons have been knocked down the mountain. I'll probably keep doing it out of OCD but it's really hit or miss.
That's Abominable! doesn't seem to have any consistent workarounds to me. I've tried making sure the abom is in range when it explodes, and I've tried making sure it doesn't round up any mobs that aren't in range, but it just doesn't matter. I've blown the abom up while close enough to do the knockback on my party and still nobody got credit. It's like Slaves to Saronite, except it's downright buggy, not random by design. I try to load my party up on guts while I'm still running around detonating frost wyrms to alleviate the frustration if two or three don't get Abominable credit.
I'm doing the Argent Tournament dailies now, at last. I wish I'd realized sooner that you can burn through the duels simply by not choosing to solo them. I'm sure this has been mentioned elsewhere in the thread, but I basically mount up the pally, stack three levels of defense, challenge Good Sir Knight to honorable combat, and grin while my warlocks beat the living crap out of him. I wouldn't be surprised if this is changed sometime in the future, but in the meantime, dishonorable combat is the way to go!
so i have not done any of the AT dailys are they worth it, what do I really get out of it? Ive been doing the icecrown quests and stormpeak hodir dailies and that takes up almost all 25 of them.
Hey guys - been out of WoW for a few months and didn't notice the formatting change in the OP. I'm firing up the 5-box again, and will update the guide and fix the formatting at the same time.
It depends, I guess. Some of them are easy gold, the others, like flying off to get a sword lobbed at you by an aquatic tart, are a bit of a waste of time, but the rewards are there over time - there's some good gear rewards, if you're not farming Heroics for badges, and the gold isn't bad. I've been doing them one at a time, I never even considered using alts to fight normally. Plus, you get the pets to sell, too. I don't know how well they sell on my server, they seem to stay on the AH a long time.
They will probably nerf that, but I'm SO doing that now, I HATE jousting. I want to be good at it, but I just can't get the hang of it. LOL.
They're kind of like fishing - a lot of people don't bother, but they're easy gold with some pretty good rewards once in a while, I've gotten a few epic gems, the rat pet, the crab pet, the fishing hat (free lures), and assorted items which give you gold when you vendor them. I'm debating leveling all of my toons...but doing one was soooo painful...but they're talking about making fishing more "fun" in Cataclysm, which says to me, harder to level, so...might as well do it now.
Same for cooking. A lot of people don't level it, but I'm pretty glad I did whenever I put out a fish feast for my guys and gals, and some of the recipes sell very well on the AH - the mats don't, but BOY do raiders like to buy food!
OK guys - the guide at the top of the thread is updated for 3.2 as some of the mechanics have changed slightly. Thanks to everyone for the input and observations.
On the topic of AT in general, I'm going to be looking deeper at the new quests, but I generally have not found AT to be terribly great for generating money *quickly*, which is what this circuit/guide was all about in the first place. AT is definitely boxable, but parts of it require a very specific setup to box efficiently, and I want to keep this guide as generic as possible, given the many different setups in use out there.
For those of you who have been trying to contact me directly on Medivh, I'm often logged into alts but have added most of my toons to the 'multibox' channel so you can probably find me there.
