I do have a keyclone license that i some times use if I am just using 2 toons, but normally I use 100% hardware.

I voted for keyclone. It's a great program with tons of features. Plus, the support is top notch. I reinstalled my OS and within an hour I had a new license.
Yea, I just redid my config using ISBoxer and it's amazing how easy it is to setup now. I mentioned elsewhere that I'd be setting up a full article on howto setup IS using ISBoxer. I think it'll actually be enough to get me off my ass and start leveling other teams (combined with some changes in 3.1.)Quote:

ACTool
Oh wait, is that program even around anymore?
Used AHK for a long time, tried out KeyClone but it just wasn't for me. About 2 months ago I picked up HKN and really liked it. I've been using it ever since (other than a few AHK scripts that I haven't converted yet).
Keyclone user here. Like many many others here have stated Rob deserves 5 thumbs up for his fantastic customer service!
another Keyclone fan. not only is it a great product that I have never had any problem configuring or trying to implement something that was too complex to make happen (seems like most anything you want to do with it, keyclone makes it easy) but the support from Rob is unmatched. good support goes a long way these days
So, Keyclone :: Macs as HKN :: PCs?
English please?Quote:

HKN and KeyClone don't work on Mac's, so I'm at a loss as to what you are asking.
I wrote it wrong, suppsoed to look like this:
KeyClone:MACs::HKN:PCs
Where : = is to and :: = as. Mondays make my head work slow.
So you are trying to say "Keyclone is to Macs as HotKeyNet is to PC's"?Quote:

this again makes no sense at all... KeyClone is a PC Multicasting solution, as is HotKeyNet... neither works on mac's, both work on PC's.
Ok, it was a throw-away observation, and it is a simple SAT analogy.Quote:

Basically, Keyclone is easy to use and intuitive, but costs more, ala Macs. HotKeyNet is more complicated, but more robust and cheaper, ala Windows based PCs. Agree or disagree if you want, no need to go further. I hope that explanation of the analogy was sufficient for you.
Actually now that you spell that out it makes a LOT of sense, I was actually thinking along those lines in the hardware sense as in you can't customize a mac but its pretty and easy to use and does it's job within a given role... while a PC can be built specifically to your task but isn't as friendly to configure.Quote:

keyclone for me 8)
Got a recommendation from a friend for keyclone, started using it for my accounts and never felt a need to look elsewhere, you can just get it, run it and go play, easy as that.
I started out using Keyclone for boxing. Easy to use, gets you going. Recently switched to ISBoxer/IS and haven't looked back. PiP swapping is second to none, Hotkeys and ingame macro creation, character sets, Trivial FTL setup and Focus based setup, etc etc. Great stuff.
Octopus for me it was not that hard to set up after I read some of Skarlots post and tutorials and some of the other tutorials out there, been using since I actually started MBing. Well dont on Skarlots part I have not used his new one yet to see how it works.
Just switched over to Innerspace/ISBoxer.
The highly customizeable ISBoxer setup, instant PIP swapping and mouse repeater with fake cursors on other client windows sealed the deal for me.

Seeing more and more of this, as IS gets easier to setup (ISBoxer) more people have access to the absolute performance that is IS.Quote:

I started with winEQ2 and AHK back when I was playing DAoC
With Wow I started with Octopus then switched to Keyclone when it stopped being supported. I still used AHK for certain scripts
Now I exclusively use Innerspace and ISBoxer.
Some of the idiot proofing in ISBoxer is proving troublesome to me so I disable most of it (eg Jamba integration and easy FTL) and use the Wow macro functionality (love this by the way) to do the same things.
Keyclone guy here also, Good program, But the author has always been so approachable when it comes to questions.

KeyClone -The Best ;)
2Author: Tnx for good support :)
InnerSpace + ISBoxer by far is the most powerful setup I have seen yet.
Compared to the other software I have used, I find it to be simply amazing.
The speed of the screen pip switching is worth the price all by itself. Now with ISBoxer making setup much much easier, it really is quiet amazing.
I had started using InnerSpace back in December of 2008, with Zanthor and Lax's help setting up all my custom settings. It worked great, the level of custom control was amazing.
I had stopped my druid team about a month later due to work constraints. I have recently got back in with a new RAF setup with my wife on a druid, and me on 4 x Shaman.
I had decided to redo my setup in ISBoxer, and after watching the videos on youtube on how to set it up, I was blazing, having my completed config done in no time ( and a pretty damn complex config at that )
ISBoxer has really done alot to level the playing field for ease of you, without losing any of the power of InnerSpace.
For my money nothing beats InnerSpace + ISBoxer.
As an extra note, I find Lax to be super approachable, and is almost always available for live chat on Lavishsoft's IRC channel, amazing support coupled with an amazing piece of software.
Keyclone.
Every time I have had a problem, (twice, both my fault) the support has been right there and BAM!! I am back in business. and I have been using it over a year.
I use InnerSpace because of the keyclone bug with the left and right ctrl and alts.
I know Rob is right there for everyone else, because I see everyone post such here all the time. But on this bug I received no response from him in emails or from posts on this board for months (literally - I can show emails sent and posts on this board - just search all my posts on the problem and his posts in the corresponding time frames). He recently acknowledged (6+ months later) the bug after his latest version by indicating he is aware of it but hasn't fixed it yet. So he has put (I'm guessing) new features in the latest upgrade but hasn't finished squashing bugs that have been there since the last version at least. I bought 5 copies (1 for each machine) and can't use them if I want to be able to distinguish between left and right alt or ctrl in my macros.
I've pretty much given up on it though as I've finally worked out a nice system with IS that works well for me and Lax gives support beyond any I've received for any software product. Lax is almost always on his IRC channel giving tons of support to everyone who logs on to ask in real time and sometimes other people help out too.
As far as software solutions go, all i have to say is that, there's Keyclone and then, there's the rest.
It's easy to setup and i never considered trying another solution, cause i dont imagine better. I use Keyclone and whenever i want to share the mouse, i use synergy along with it. I even made a post about this on my blog http://5konnichiwa.blogspot.com/2008...-software.html .
As for support it always was fast and very helpful.
Keyclone is great and the support is spot on.
Mark
Hi, I've tried one product and no others and the one I've tried is obviously the best because I say so... Maybe this isn't what you are trying to say, maybe English is your second language, but wow that just comes off sounding uninformed.Quote:

Not that KeyClone isn't a good product, it does what it does very well, but there are other products that do more, and they do it quite well.
been using hotkeynet for ~1 year ;)
Only used Keyclone, but to me it seems the most updated.
And since it renewed my interest in WoW, paying for it goes to the creator to give him a little love.
the poll is gone for me too but this thread is long dead - why resurrect it ?
I didn't realize it was dead~ Just got Keyclone myself and it's still in the MoTD :x Sorry guys
10 boxing with keyclone =D
5 boxing (several teams, or mixing tanks within the teams) with ISBoxer
Used to use Keyclone (still love you Rob!) but after trying ISBoxer i fell in love with the ease of setup and extra utility
HKN all the way peps.
Especially with the "on screen buttons" mouseclick in an area of a screen presses key on Slave -> Superbly healing
E.g. Screen area is the area where healbot is and so It look like I am healing on my tank with healbot :)
<3 Freddy for this piece of fine software
