3 warriors:
The Fierce, The Black and The Wicked are their names....
Here are the names I used for 5 shamans that I created recently:
Prepared
Prepare
Preparing
Preparer
Prepares
They all look identical too. The main is Prepared. He's the one that is "Prepared" for Illidan. :)
Anyone on US servers that use special characters (like öõó)? I'm curious if gms enforce the naming policy. Have a few names in mind but rather not have to change them later because of special characters.
There are a ton of little ones (10-19 bracket) running around with those characters, not sure if they approve of it though.
My names are:
Fennin
Coirnav
both gods in EQ :) Played for 5 years
I've had no problems on Silvermoon US or Kaz-Goroth OC.Quote:

Team of shamans;

Been reported plenty of times so far for 'botting' and the GMs have never mentioned my names. I've also used the paid name change feature mutlipul times using ASCII letters without any dramas.
Harpo
Groucho
Chico
Zeppo
Gummo
I made toons like this I call them team bar-code, it started off as a joke on one of my rangers back in the EQ days. I actually talked a GM into changing my name because it was "confusing". I deleted the 5box team on wow about 2mins into it, it's confusing as hell when you try and heal 8043754375 people named ililililililiQuote:

I have a couple different approaches to names with my 6-box setup in DAOC. I typically have a main with the variation of the name "Nisch", which is part of my last name. I've done the ABCDEX route with my rangers: Aynisch, Bynisch, Cynisch, Dynisch, Eynisch and Xynisch.
I also named similar ways...with my 4 bainshees: Lifreen, Lifreem, Liphreen and Liphreem. That way, if talking over vent, they have a hard time with saying which one to target.
I also made 5 wardens recently with the names: Encephalectomy, Hydrocephalitis, Encephalitis, Hydrocephaly, and I honestly can't remember the 5th name now.....which is the point..........hard to pronounce when talking in vent.
I really prefer the similar sounding names though than the ABCD.......route. Confusion is your advantage.
I'm relatively content with my boomkin name setup...I call 'em Eteeo, Eteo, and Clees for short lol; I don't care for the gobbledydook names with abcd but fullnames with numbers at the end work just as well to confuse people to some extent and still makes targeting a painful process since they have to type the full name rather than the first few letters.
Mine are pretty good -IMO anyway ;P

All orc shamans :D 'Cuz green is best ;)
I read the book to my baby girl every night and it never crossed my mind to name my toons "Onefish, Twofish, Redfish, & Bluefish" 8oQuote:

On the Naming of toons...I always wanted four Hunters "Godzilla, Godziila, Godzllia, and Godzlila" with those gorillas from STV named "King Kong."
Although after being harassed like crazy for Multiboxing...Notabot, Notbbot, Notcbot, and Notdbot would work for me too. :|
You just gave me an excuse to pick up a 4th battlechest...3-4box when will the madness stop!?!?!
I also three box, and have agonized over names for my teams. My favorite ones so far are:
Veni, Vidi, Vici
&
Cntrl, Alt, Delete
Both sets are clearly designed to be names of a tripartate group, they're humourous, and not easily confused with one another. Though for pvp, the lack of similarity could be a con.

Man you guys are a lot more creative than I am :S
A few more suggestions.

You can see from my sig what I chose :)
Winner!
I've actually been thinking on this recently. That if I make another team...I'd rather them have different names under a theme, rather than the one-letter-difference thing.
Best I've come up with so far is candy.
Taffy
Caramel
Licorice
Lollipop
Mint
Maybe in a guild ... <Sweets for the Sweet>
Just a thought.
I work pretty well with names. It is an RP server, only one report so far was for my main priest who had the name Ludacrits at the time, while Ludacritz was fine. I worked out a fine FlagRSP for a mining skinning male orc warrior, with a great RP background, put things together out of his background and profession to make a name for him being in a word-name concatinating mood at the time and it ended up Diggernicks. I might have to rethink it.
My new duo, shamans, are Windführer and Oprahwinfury. People instantly said "You're going to get reported/suspended", I don't get it. It's a legit german noun meaning leader or sometimes guide, naturally he is the guide of the wind - down his arms when windfury procs and so on. Hmpf. People are messed up.
That is funny in your sig. I like mine in my sig. Hope to strike the fear of god in my arena opponents when I get to 70.Quote:

I also have a druid named DevilSpawn, so I started a druid group Aspawn, Bspawn, Cspawn, Dspawn. Not very creative there.
I do have a twink mage named Frostibyatch, I suppose I could make a team with her naming the others as such. Hornibyatch, Upadibyatch, Wasupbyatch, Uglibyatch
I like anagrams. Mine are
Tasirai (Prot Paly)
Istaria (Holy Priest)
Satiria (Mage)
Atisria (Shadow Priest)
3 characters.
SeeNoEvil

I went with one of my all time favorite movies, The Super Troopers. Although I did have to get creative with the spelling of some of the names because most were already taken. See my sig.
I am very uncreative with my toons.
my first set of toons were Tseirpa, Roirraw, Eugora, Namahsa, and Nidalapa.
Although Nidalapa and Tseirpa never made it past 20 :(
My 4 shaman team currently are named
Whitecrayon
Yellowcrayon
Orangecrayon
Pinkcrayon
Rerolled a 5 shaman team with the blessings of Maz with the names
Nevergonna
Giveyouup
Letyoudown

Although I'm honestly thinking of changing their names because I cannot stop singing the silly song since making these characters.
That song is my constant companion.Quote:

I think this depends on the server you are on. If you are on a German WoW server in the EU, you are unlikely to have a problem, since what you are saying is correct. 'Fuehrerschein' for example means driving license. But in the US, or even on English EU servers, that is different. You can expect people there to associate the word with the context they are most likely to have heard it in, and that is in WWII movies and used by the Nazis. That is not exactly an association you want when you are trying to immerse yourself in an MMO, in particular on a RP server. =]Quote:

See sig:
Shaman names are just made up ones.
Mage names are moons of Saturn
Jupiter and Saturn's moons are a pretty good source of names I reckon.
The names I currently use are:
for my first team I used an A-E+common suffix job, besides Captn. Claire was not available, so I went with Capt(ai)n.
Alaire - Mage
Blaire - Warlock
Captn - Priest
Dlaire - Warlock
Elaire - Warlock (usually replaced by my tankadin)
My shaman names are bastardized Latin going after the elements. I am not happy with those names though and I am thinking of changing them.
Firma (Earth - terra firma)
Lavia (Water - lavare - to wash)
Venta (Air - Wind)
Flama (Fire - Flame)
Aethera (Ether - Void)
I had to read that one twice.Quote:

At around lvl 16 I had to change Milktits and Milkbewbs.
I rest my case. lolQuote:
