Is that right?
So today I was multiboxing and I came across thi-OH GOD BEES
Savage makes a good point.
Read it all, if you really want to multibox you have to do the research its not an instant thing you have to find out what your options are and how you go about doing it, I realize that its a lot of material to read but if you want to do it effectively read it! Use the Wiki its your friend! And stickies there great. All this will point you in the right direction. If you get everything together and are having issues then that's when you start asking the questions. Not that folks want to discourage you but multiboxing is not for everyone.
Enjoy your multiboxing experiance I have.
shall i make a thread like this too ?
Thank youQuote:

The roflgrenade got thrown into the roflbunker and roflsploded the roflsoldiers into the roflsky.
This is me. Posting a thread-bumping reply.
With the amount of totally inane "HELP" "OMG" posts, I just lost the will to help anybody this morning so it's time to bump the eye-catching topic for whatever it's worth...
On balance, I think I prefered multiboxing when it was niche rather than mainstream ;)
Ay. Although I did start right before RAF was introduced, I'd hate to think of myself as one of the many in the past weeks who came here only after googling Multiboxing because they saw the phrase on the WoW General Forum.Quote:

My neighbor just did that - He complained endlessly to me about always facing this 5x Shaman team in AV, so what does he do? Tries to do it himself. Pathetically, though, running 5 x WoWs doesn't work very well on a crappy laptop. Apparently it's the other person's fault because this hobby of ours takes more time and money (gasp) than just playing a single character. He actually got mad at ME because he didn't know that you needed multiple accounts. I wanted to smack him so freaking hard. If you see me post with anger, thats most likely where its coming from; dont take it personal.
Hehe, brilliant, thanks for the lunch laugh.
There is indeed pretty much everything one needs to get started on multiboxing all over these forums, I for one only recently gave it a try after a friend told me about the RAF offer, and clearly I've found all the needed support off the various topics on these boards.
You are one of the good ones. I am of the opinion if you can't operate a web forum you are not ready for the responsibility of multiboxing an mmo ;)Quote:

Heck, if I can write a Getting Started guide and make a video, all without asking for help in the forums, so can you. http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/inde...etting_Started
I know most people want things handed to them, or their ADD kicks in every 15 seconds and their attention span finds something shiny, multiboxing isn't something you just download and use. It takes patience, lot of reading, and lot of testing. It's a mental challenge, a challenge that for some people is worth it. Especially for people that have played the game for years and need a breath of fresh air.
It is rather irritating to be one of the guys that is actually looking for information and running into 50 posts with the same questions. It's not too difficult to set up. Hardest part for me is the macros but I'll learn. /salute to the vets :)
P.S. I thought the OP was hilarious :P
Just doing my part and
Dare I say bumping be bump the post.
I started 5 boxing about 2 months ago. I lurk , and made about 2 post I think maybe 3.
I learned a great deal from it and this forums.
And I admit.... I skip the Stickies also most times.
But they are a must read..
So BUMP 8|
Regards

Everyone blames these people for coming in here and making these posts. Maybe we should look at it a different way. We all make it look too easy to do. Therefore I propose the following solution: when multiboxing in a capitol city, you must take your toons off follow and pass your movement keys so they dont all quite do the same thing. This will cut down on the number of these people that think "hey, that looks easy. I can do that!" and then come here and make these posts.
Its not their fault that all the info is on this site in really easy to find places, its our fault that we make it look easy! :D
Yes, I am being sarcastic.
Im sorry its all my "fault" i tell ppl to come here when they see me MBing and even the allys ask me on there lvl1s how do i do that...... i hesitate to tell them because i dont want them to know lol. then i say its a zerg thing look it up lol J/K.
1.of or pertaining to preemption.
I hate when dictionaries do this.
what is Love?
To have great love and affection for something or someone.

"i was at a train station once and i asked the counter lady hows the train coming and she was like oh today its being reverted, or something stupid sounding.
i asked her, whats "reverted" mean.
She looked at me like i was stupid and was like you know when you revert things.
OH COME ON...
I looked at her with a more stupid look, somehting outta calvin and hobbes and i was like, is that so webster's dictionary. care to explain what revert means.
She turned into a smart ass and say the short version of reverting.
I walked away very sad.
To this day i dont think the word was revert, just had to pick a word. But ya
Bump
I almost forgot I made this topic
Whats this doing on the second page?
BTW, I have finally returned to WoW and this time as a DualBoxer running 2xMages.
This is the first time I have been able to play the game for more than a few days without canceling my account.
Maybe if I had multi-boxed it in the first place I would have been playing for three or four years now.
