Welcome Back, Bradster!
2 questions for ya:
Did your flaky friends come back to WoW? :D
and...
Are you paying for 10 Subscriptions? (5 WoW and 5 Eve?)

So tonight I got a lot done, its all untested but I really made progress. I hooked up the Vetra's hooked up the Y-Mouse and other KVM. The USB KVM has been tested and works. Hooked up the wireless mice (untested), unable to test the Vetra as i'm in need of a PS/2 keyboard. Also no net until I get the cross over cable.
So thats Tuesday's plan. Hope the cross over cable will fix my net issues, test all the hardware stuff and get that working. Then I need to reinstall wow and patch it on the other 4 machines which should take a few hours. After that its a matter of turning on all my accounts, and setting up the UI and macros. I'll have full rested at level 65 x5 so that will be nice.
Perhaps by the end of the week provided no problems i'll be set.
Oh I also ordered the CPU fans from newegg, at most 2 days per normal with there fast standard shipping.
rofl, if someone made that for me and it sounded half decent I'd use it on the next intro on a movie.Quote:

Two of my friend came back, either don't play too much. I've asked them both to box with me, and I offered to reroll with them. Both would love too by money is a real issue. One more so then the other. My other friend doesn't want wow taking up all his time again which I understand, hes still thinking about it.
Speaking of which can a 2.0 Core 2 duo run 5 accounts via keyclone? I have no idea since I run all hardware.
Good to see you back, Bradster. I always enjoy reading your posts :)
My laptop is a C2D 1.5Ghz 4gig Ram with an 8600M GT 256mb on a 15.4" screen, /laptopfail, and I run 5 accounts via Keyclone JUST fine. Gets some lag in Shatt but nothing that will stop him from playing. Will just slow him down some. All other cities are just fine. Run a constant 30fps capped via Keyclone.Quote:

And glad to see ya back :) Sorry the EvE shit didn't work out. I got pretty bored of it myself around the time Morg went with ya into 0sec. Just didn't have it in me to make the move.
So went out for lunch today, not a single store carries PS/2 Keyboards anymore, thats funny. My wife is going to check 2 local stores for me. I may have to order one on-line. On the plus side I can borrow something from work to get me by for now.
So with all this hate going on with boxers I think it's time for a new guild name from <Toxicmoon's Army> to.. how about <The Autobots> ?
Looking for something funny at least, I'm all ears for suggestions. Surfing around I saw <Scrubway Eat Flesh> That sounded appealing, that or <Cheer up Emo kid>.
MOAR VIDEOS KTHX.
;)
Fixed the internet!
Here's what happend. After the breaker blew it reset my router settings to 192.168.0.1 which conflicted with the switch. After I changed the IP address to .30 on the router and a lot of rebooting (Have to start up the router first, THEN the cable modem) I have internet on all machines.
I'm downloading Service Pack 3 on them all now. And the best part I hooked up all the Keyboard stuff up right on the first try so thats all tested.
On a bad note my one PC keeps shutting off due to heat issues. I'm going to stick a large house fan with the case open to get it all patched up. The CPU fans which I have ordered should be here any day now.
Next 4 hours i'll spend getting this updated and installing wow, BC and all the patches. This is going to take a while, but I sure don't mind now that I got that internet problem out of the way.
Then it's just a matter of waiting on the CPU cooler fans, then I can logon and begin setting everything up from there (another day or two heh).
weeee This is a good night.
welcome back ^^
Well last night I managed to patch most of the machines up to the point it would allow me to install BC, there's still a good Gig each of downloading left. The downloading went really slow last night I normally receive fast speeds, guess it had something to do with the realms they were working on.
I had to continue to move a fan between two computers to keep them running. But on my way out the door today there sat my box I ordered with all the CPU cooler fans. When I get home thats the first thing i'll do is replace all the fans. Then resume patching. If all goes well I can get them patched and ready before 5am before I head to bed. I stayed up a hour later then normal working on all of this stuff, paying for it now ZZZzzz.
Looks like Thursday I'll be logging in and working on the UI and macro, week and half ahead of time then I planned :)
Glad to see you back, Brad.
Ahhh, networking issues. My setup is that my secondary MB system is hooked up to my cable internet, and shares it with my primary computer. Both of them run ZoneAlarm. Anyway, last night I got the notification that there were two new Windows updates to install, so I dutifully installed them and rebooted. For some reason, this wound up changing the gateway settings on ZoneAlarm. Even after fixing that, the primary machine (which gets it's internet from the other one) cannot connect to the internet if ZoneAlarm is running on it. The ZA running on the other machine is just fine and is sharing everything the way it normally does. If I have ZA running on both systems, I can still see all of my shared resources on either drive. But internet access is a no-go. Disable it on the main system and presto-- working internet.
Sigh... well at least it works on the system hooked up to the 'net. Maybe I'll switch them and see what happens.
