Im having big problems with IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL as well. Some days I can have 5 bluescreens. :-(
My system conf (please dont start a DELL-flame-war):
DELL XPS
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
Ram 2x1 + 2x2 GB RAM
Nvidia Geforce 800GT
Windows Vista (32-bit)
I will upgrade to Vista 64 in a month or so (in order to utulize my 6GB worth of RAM), but until then it would be great to get things to run smooth. So far I havent done anything preemtive but I will make sure run memtest as well as check the settings in the BIOS.

I removed 2x1GB worth of memory yesterday (Im still caped with my 2x2GB on 32-bit Vista) and I could play all night without a single bluescreen ... fingers crossed this is the sollution.

Hmmm... I think thats not a good solution to use 2 different manufacturer...
In past I had the same problem with 1x 512 MB and 1x 256 MB... In the end, the motherboard turned on the wrong values (the settings from the 512MB) and my 256 MB said "Goodbye" ;)
If u use 2 different, check if the values from the lower sticks are set!

He's right, mixing memory is asking for trouble.
Variance in speed (MHz), timings (4-4-4-12 for example) and size (512mb/1gb/2gb) will all cause you nothing but problems. That is why it is recomendable to buy the exact same modules for all slots.
