I ran into a couple of 17 elites in blood elf territory that were unbelieveably easy to kill. I was like level 9 and dropped them without too much trouble. Kind of weird, actually.Quote:

Another vote for Azuremyst/Bloodmyst. I level all of my toons there; the density and layout of the quests is infinitely better than any of the other Alliance starting areas. These zones also seem to me to have a lot more mining & herbing nodes thn the other areas. Your first 40-50 points in cooking are also essentially given to you when you level here.Quote:

If you are boxing or getting boosted there may be a little gap between finishing up the Azuremyst quest lines and being able to start the Bloodmyst queats, but this is usually only about half a level or so.
This is true anywhere. Train cooking. Buy 40 flour & 40 mild spices. Make 40 spiced bread. Cost is around 2s and cooking will be right around 40 for 1 minute of work.Quote:

I was lvl 20 before I left Bloodmyst. Easiest starting area by far.
My $.02 about outland. What I did with my last 2 70's (I leveled 8 before I tried this) is skipped all of the outlands quests to start with. At 58 I went straight to Ramparts until 60 then I started Blood Furnace till 62. Why? I hit honored with Honor Hold without doing any quests (I did do the ones for the instances I think), and I had all of the gear I wanted from the instances, and was level 62 when I started the quests. Then I only did the easy quests, the ones I could do without a lot of running around.
Then I went to Zang and did the same thing. In doing this, I was able to skip 90% of Blades Edge (I'm getting to why), and 90% of Terrokar. I went to Nagrand at 64 and did all of those quests and started MT and AC. From Nagrand I went to Netherstorm, did 6 quests in town and all of the ones in the south (the undead area) then went to SMV to go from 69 to 70.
Once I hit 70 I bought a flying mount and went back to Hellfire. I did all of the quests I skipped in very little time. I kill everything quicker, I got more gold for the quests, I didn't need the gear they gave (both were enchanters and DE'd it all) and I could fly from one to the next. I did this in Zang, Blades Edge and Terrokar. I made about 800g in 2 days just doing those old quests. It took me a bit longer, I think, but it was more satisfying.
My point is, experiment. Don't marry convention, she is a bitch anyway.
