More WoW! >.<
A simple two-fan cooling mat, but the bearings suck.. one little bump on my desk and they get noisy, so I have to turn it off for a moment then back on... meh, gotta buy a new one some time...
Awesome setup, I always like the mini control center feel. You should try auditioning for Pixar in their next "Lifted" (the movie posted in offtopic as mulitbox exam) with all those keys lol, i can just imagine me trying to hit the right one and then just mashing all buttons at once lol! Very nice setup, <3 that laptop

Hey i got a question about the G15 keyboard, i've been to several lans in the past that a few of the real gamer freaks had and were always raving about those keyboards, are they really as good as everyone says? i'm pricing out a new machine right now and just had to spend a lot on my car to get it registered and what not so i dont have as much as i would like and was looking for things i could cut the cost on, a 75 dollar keyboard seemed like one of the first things to go but if its really worth it i'll just have to cut the cost somewhere else ;)
if you guys could give me some pro's and cons on it that'd be great, i know there's reviews out there on it but i want reviews from multi-boxers. we use keyboards a little differently than most gamers ;)
how does it handle multi-key pressing? i use my numpad to control my healer and the rest of the keys for my dps/tank. any problems with that sort of thing?
Thank you! :D :DQuote:

And I actually am a Logitech fan :P
The other thing is, that you have 18 × 3 (G15 v1) or 6 × 3 (G15 v2) Macro keys, that you can use freely, just as you'd use an x-keys keyboard:
Enter usernames/passwords, execute commands, such as /follow or something like that, or just use it as an extra set of keys: CTRL-X, ALT-B.. whatever you can think of...
But beware of automation! The Macro editor, as well as the x-keys application, can be used to make timed macros, which is considered to be against the WoW-EULA.
That's one reason, btw, why Blizzard has protected many functions, that would otherwise be usable in AddOns and self-written scripts for automation, like the movement functions.
On Windows, I use those Macro keys for launching programs, like Firefox, E-Mail client, etc.
Also a neat feature is the LCD, which, if enabled, shows you status information about your character: Str, Sta, Agi.. etc., Weapon skill levels, durability, and so on...
Further, there's a WIN-lock switch on the G15, to disable the WIN and Context keys, in case those get annoying, while gaming, because they will minimize full-screen windows (the WIN key mostly).
Well, one con would be, if you have limited space on your desk, that it takes a lot of room, with the hand-bar installed, that is. The ver 2, however, is a little bit smaller than the ver 1.
And if you are used to the power buttons (Power, Wake, Sleep/Suspend) on your old keyboard, you'll miss them, cuz they left those out.

About the multi key-pressing: it has no problem with that. There's a limitation, however, on how many keys you can press at the same time, which are sent to and accepted by the PC (I think it's six or so..)
I hope that helps you a little, to decide further :D ^^ 8o
good setup, nice to see you clipped your cable ties towards the end;)
Id have a setup like this except it was hard enough to convince my misses that 5 monitors was what i needed.
Plus the fact i probably dont have the room in my home:(
