I'm usually pretty limited on time, but I think the SSO dailies are the fastest way to earn gold. But if I had a team that could complete a heroic, I would be doing that daily first every time. Those Badge rewards are sooo sweet.

Just do dailies. I was earning 145gold per toon x5 = 725 for a little over an hour game time. Right now, I'm sitting on about 6500g each toon.
Then again, I haven't bought my epic flyer yet... only because my dailies doesn't require a fast flyer, and I'm being cheap. Heard that when the next expansion comes out, the epic flyer will cost less.
Then again, with the amount spend, you can do more daily's or do them faster and do other stuff.
Exactly. If you have the money for an epic mount, you can make money a lot faster. Even if it's just for mining or so.Quote:

Of course epic flights will be cheaper after the expansion, but your gold will very likely be worth less too.
I have just reached 70 so i havent really gotten into Heroics. But i lvled most of the time from 60 to 70 in 5mans and i must say that just normal 5mans gives alot.. Like steamvoult give the rep thingis that sells really nice.. and SL and mech gived rep to aldor etc.. I mail every thing that gets sold on AH to one bank chr that cash in a few hundreds each day from my lvling in the 5mans basicly. So going heroics must own like crazy :P
what lvl can you start doing the sso dailies?
What? More to life that collecting gold for epic mounts?? Huh???Quote:

*head implodes*
you get gold to get better gear. you get better gear to get more gold.
Is there really thing else to it?
Well, there is the roughly 10,000 gold in mats needed to gem/enchant 5 toons every arena season/full gear upgrade cycle, if you're into that.Quote:

Buying raid spots is not unheard of. Arena points ...well perhaps not as common now. Gold helps indirectly with all of those things, even if it just means repairing your broken gear from the last BT/Sunwell raid or purchasing flasks etc. Using gold to max out 10 different professions across 5 characters, upgrading gems/enchants on gear, upgrading bags. There is always something you can spend gold on and there will continue to be. End game is when you quit wow.Quote:
