I just ordered one too :)
I'm always wary of cordless mice for gaming because of the stutter when you move them for the first time after a few seconds of inactivity. I'll see how I get on with this.
Thanks for the tip-off!

Just the center mouse wheel alone had me sold on this mouse. Being able to switch between free spin and ratcheting per program is awesome. I purchased it when it first came out and the battery has about the same life as when I first bought it.
A good 4-6 hours later I noticed my new mouse was done charging. Oi, this guy is gonna take some time to get used to. It was really heavy and felt pretty uncomfortable at first touch. I'll keep playing with it though, i'm stuck with it now. :P
After a while it'll feel like a part of your hand.Quote:

Without charging at all I get about 2 weeks of playtime out of it.
Dude screw that, there's an option to switch between the 2 by just pressing down on it. Shit's hawt.Quote:

Haha, i originally thought the smooth scroll to ratchet mousewheel thing was initially faulty hardware. I was like, "wtf, why is this thing smooth and then clicky all of a sudden?" But after pressing the mousewheel and switching between the modes i realized it was a cool-ass feature.
I still think the mouse is a bit unweildy to pick up and reposition on my mouse pad. It seems the laser that detects the mouse's distance to the pad is quite long, so just I pretty much have to lift the mouse up alot higher than i'd like to. The top mouse wheel's side to side buttons are kinda weird to push, but i'm trying to get the hang of it. One feature i'd just go gaga over is being able to program two keystrokes on one button push. Just so I can take the thumb scroll and push forward to move my guys forward, and pull backward to spread them out in a formation.
X.......X
X...X
But the formation I use requires two characters to hit two buttons (strafe and move backward)
I've got one myself, and am in the process of learning to do all the movement via mouse :) will take time tho.. I figured i will be starting to do that on my resto druid in pvp as it requires the most quick movement :) If i can get it done well on him, cone and brain control should be easy ^^
sidenote: It's a great mouse indeed. but make sure if you get one you thoroughly inspect it when you get it. Logitech have messed up on quality control a little regarding this particular model, and chances are you may have a faulty one when you first order it (get it replaced :) ) I bought one from www.overclockers.co.uk who have been very professional and replaced my mouse in 2 days (1 for sending off, 1 for shipping a new mouse). Unfortunately the second model also had a problem (different to the first >.<). Can't wait for my third to arrive ^^
I don't want to put you off, it is an amazing mouse 8| so much versatility and the battery longevity is insane (first one, besides the malfunction had around 50 hours of work/play under it's belt (not back to back ofc :P with breaks - but no charging) and still had 1/3 battery life on it.
just don't throw your old one out immediately ^^ and expect to use it 2 weeks from when you first get it :P
If you're having issues with reaction on a mousepad, give this a shot - try what I do..
DONT' USE A MOUSEPAD!!! It's a lazermouse!! It shouldn't need a mousepad. Unless you're mousing on a surface that's like a mirror it shouldn't matter.
Yeah, I've had more trouble USING mousepads than NOT using mousepads with my LAZUR mice. The freespinning scroll wheel is key when it comes to using addons that auto buff on scroll wheel :D (ZOMG Buffs/Smartbuff)Quote:

after reading the posts about this mouse, I went to best buy and bought it. I was using the Razer Lachesis. I've already noticed a difference in a few actions. My clones stay on follow after looting, and i don't lose control of my regions after driving a clone. The razer is going to my son. Its the most comfortable mouse i've ever put in my hand.
