Hey Pyro - did you try it on a group member? It worked for me if I follow a group member but outside of groups it doesnt do anything.

which is kinda good really :) seems like a good thing for multiboxers, I've had few people /follow my team before for no other reason than to be a PITAQuote:

Well when WoW first came out, boxing on the same PC wasn't too viable, only after it aged and PC spec's overcame the hurdle could you play 5 on the same PC at an affordable price. So it appears the trend is starting again with needing multiple PC's for each, give it time and you'll be in the same scenario a couple years down the road.
How are the casters in this game btw? I'm interested to try it out
It only works on group members because of how PVP works in AoC...
But your able to be grouped in PvP right? :) whats the party size
Yes, you can group in PvP and the group size is 6...
Ok, I finally set everything up and I have now 2 necromancers playing...plus the mystery of the /follow command is solved...
1. It is in the game and "functioning"...
2. It only works on group member
3. It only works on group members if the group was formed in the same instance. This means that if A and B are in different instances...they group up...transfer to instance X...then /follow will do nothing. Solution: abandon group, reform group, and /follow will work
4. Anytime a loading screen pops up - /follow will not work anymore (going into an Inn, death...) and you have to drop the group and reform it.
Assist - isn't really doing it for me at the moment. You cannot acquire your main's target by /assist (typing it gives you an error - only the hotkey "T" works) unless the main is engaged in battle...even then it is buggy. Right now I have to target with TAB (nearest enemy) it works...
Other observation - the auto-target option and auto-face options are quite nice for melee combat. Melee range is pretty long - characters will jump into the fight and get close automatically - this makes melee fighting actually easy.
Hmm, so if you push T it will assist who? Other than that, looks totally doable.
If my main targets a mob and I push T then my other character gets a message that my main is not in a fight and he doesnt target anything. Once I attack and my main is in combat then I can push T and my second character will assist. However, it still is iffy - I think if there are multiple targets then I have to keep applying assist or something else is going on...it gets messed up every now and then...but those are minor issues. Once we can fully use the macro system it should be fine.
The /follow command is tricky, it stops working at times, but a simple abondon/regroup fixes it, melee atm seems easy. I'm playing a barbarian/bear shaman combo at the moment, and i'm already feeling the 'multi-boxing' love on the pvp servers.
It will never work amazingly well mostly due to the collosion detection.
Give it time and some of the bugs will be ironed out and we can probably box it. Dunno if I'd bother though - a huge amount more skill based combat, and positioning even as a priest is massive.
