Multiboxing in and of itself is not bannable, how ever account sharing (or using someone elses registered account) is a bannable practice.


Still this is a bummer of an occurrence to someone who isn't actually account sharing, but has inherited someone elses accounts. Yes I draw the line a little differently and have no say at all in it and my opinion differs from the line blizzard has drawn. But hey its my opinion =P

There isn't. Account sharing can lead to a ban, whether you multibox with the accounts or not. Blizzard is very strict about this.

A little TOO strict, in my opinion...if you have a good reason/explanation and had it transferred to the new name with both parties' written, notarized consent it should be allowed or something...but with 10million players I suppose it's the only way they can do for now lol

Soz to hear about your accounts. I do hope you are able to retrieve your characters but I have an inkling that it might be difficult. Blizz seem to be somewhat lenient when it comes to retrieval of accounts within a family. not sure about ex family members tho :S They expect there to be some confusion within a family as to who is and isn't allowed to play. *fingers crossed*

I have to say I do think the best idea is to start anew and simply get all your accounts on the same name. If you manage to move your mains onto those or get you mains account name changed to your own I guess that would work out too.

Lord poor Trikk lol; still get any accts restored you can and use the gold on those to get yer new ones back up and running =x After you strip 'em who cares what happens to 'em(even for the 1 or 3 you DO legitimately have); if you haven't bought 'em all yet try to at least get the one legit account back and match the new ones to that one lol, save what you can

Although...I will have to contact an in game GM. The gm of <PSHA> is on one of the unrecoverable accounts. :(
