You know, I always wondered about the vegetation... When I was 2boxing my warrior and priest, I would farm Skald for primal fires, and every so often BOOM... all of the vegetation and trees would appear. Then I would walk away and it would all be gone. I hadnt even realized there WAS trees there.
See kids this is why you don't skip quests. This is a quest in Blade's Edge from the Ancient Tree in Evergrove; he asks you to replant the forest in Skald. There's 3 mounds of dirt north, middle, and south; each seed planted suddenly sprouts a whole forest covering the immediate area, and also spawns a fire ele who is perma-aggro'd to you.(Which made for some interesting fun...got one spawned on me, went crow form on the 2nd mound and led the fire ele around to gank people lol)Quote:

Yeah I saw this on MMO champ, I wanted to try it out.
Eh, if I could turn rendering completely OFF on my slave machines to increase performance just that extra bit, I'd do it. (Yes, I've tried)Quote:

is there a way, via in-game macros, to determine if your wow window is foreground or background?
it would be really nice to be able to change the res detail on the fly using a single macro
I don't think there would be... only because I'm assuming that when Bliz coded this, they didn't really care if the window is on the foreground or background because they assumed everyone would just single-box it.... then again, that's just my assumption which means nothing at all. :)Quote:

You could just do it manually and make 2 macros, one of more and the other for less...
now find me one that shrinks tauren models by 50% and I'll be happy!
Thats easy. Just lower wow's resolution by 50%. Only works in windowed mode.
