Cloths, not happening. I can't comment too much on 5 shamans, cause there are some possibilities there, just a hell of a lot more risk vs a standard tank/dps/heal group.
I have 2 groups that I use for heroics. Total of 10 level 70's.
-Paladin, mage, mage, mage, druid. (Still farming bojs)
-Warior, mage, warlock, mage, priest. (I farmed all the bojs I would ever need for this group.)
If someone really wants to complete an instance I think they could figure it out. I mean heck controlling five characters was said to be impossible. :)
I don't see the heroics being a problem. You may have to gear up higher to get them done. xbox is doing elite heroics, but his itemization is much higher than a mundane level 70's itemization. He is sporting nearly ~185 per slot and the gear is completely for his spec. Also his 'chain lightning barrage pull', kite and wait out cooldowns ... is a motif that is a great combination. With chain lightning on a mere 6 second cooldown with a instant recast proc and 100% crit prebuff spell as well as swiftness.
If xbox added a prot tank, suddenly he would need to start healing with the shaman. Suddenly he spec falls apart and the a ~30k damage burst pulls (likely much higher now) insta-kills are no more. Oddly a lack of a tank means that eye of the storm is going on, for good or for worse.
Large boss fights seem to be spread out so that they can have a chance at doing the 'shooting fish in a barrel' formation. So if the boss does take on one toon the others likely can pull the mob off and make it circulate.
The idea of being 80th level doesn't really impact things. xbox's gear is already suitable for 80th level toons, he is just missing higher ranks.
gear would be of a great issue, I think that if you get enough of dungeon set items you will do very good in heroics. Wont be a walkin the park, but should be possible.
I wish I was even remotly close on gaining that level :(
I never said there was a problem with doing heroics, just being able to do most of them is every multi-boxers dream...soooo keep dreaming. How many (NonHeroic) BC dungeons have you cleared with your 5 man? Watching someone clear one of the easiest heroic dungeon and already assume that you guys will be able to clear every other heroic boggles me.Quote:

Which group do you prefer Caldyn, the pally or warrior group?
Swap the warrior for a pally, and that's pretty much my group:)
Depends on the instance, with pally I can do Non Heroic BM, with warrior I can't since I have to focus one toon on dpsing the adds that fly by, with Paladin I can consecrate and hold aggro, full dps on the elite then follow and aoe all the adds when the elite is near dead. Warrior can't do that.Quote:

Mtin'g main heroic bosses and adds are easier with the warrior, I take less risk of dying/wiping, there's more hp and mitigation from warrior than paladin. Single boss aggro management is > than Paladin. In Karazhan / Prince, I eventually and obviously start losing aggro over the duration of the fight vs the warrior, and wind up taking more crushing blows vs warrior.
HP right now is 14k warrior vs 10.5k paladin hp. Warrior gear up to 490 defense can be swapped with mitigation type gear, block/dodge/parry gear. The Paladin due to aggro management needs to have spell damage in as much as possible if you plan to hold aggro longer + hp, so you have to balance out x amount of total spell damage vs x amount of mitigation.
Overall though, Paladin is better 5 man instance then warrior at the moment.
