I just switch to an alt and lead/quest from them

The big benefit of the tank leading is they can't be dazed/knocked off their mount, so they pull all the aggro when running around and no issues.
With the hivemind mount it seems there is an equal % anyone in the group pulls aggro but daze does not knock you out of the mount.

Always choose Resounding Protection as an azerite trait, it stops the mount daze. Its an easy to find trait as well.

Not necessary with the hivemind of course.
