I made gold by farming the big zandalari raremobs as well as the smaller ones nearby, aside from getting profession mats +gold+rnd epics+mount you'll also get some movement training, for me that was very fun to do as my server is pretty empty

otherwise I'm doing retro raids mostly when someone pays me for rushing him through and I was also offering 85-90 boosts@ dooker dome on the forums

Is there much G in those rares? never thought there was. Thanks for that, i was trying to get someone to buy 25 man sarth 3 drake run, but no takers. had all trash cleared and 2 at stone for summons, but no buyer.

Ah new thought. Anyone have any ideas about what would make a good/great second team? I would like to at least start one before my raf runs out. Was thinking the classic DK x4, not much healing though. I could see some good potential for chaining remorseless winters with one toon with the aoe grip talent. Not as much on demand burst, but if you could get UH to work could be some great spread damage.
I am thinking melee team right now, so DK, could try rogue, but i dont really think that it's too great. Could certainly sap arena 1-4 and burst one guy down before even out of subterfuge. As well 4x blind after, 4 smokes not bad. One bop or bubble and you're out of luck, as well roots would be a constant trouble.
Warriors could be fun, but i am not great with proc based multiboxing, so that is a little tough. ret... how is ret these days? Every time i face one they never really seem much of a concern, ground their hoj normal dps for bubble, then easy burst or normal kill after. They seem squishy
i have never played a monk, so it's probably unwise to start a boxed team of them, as well it seems, like warriors, mobility is one of their strong points (but not really in a boxing way).
lock would be fun, but caster classes, i feel, are difficult nowadays with all the knockbacks, mage no way, hunter looks strongish, feral seems to squish. Boomkin is strong, but again caster, though cycling vortex beams (any DR there?) could be incredibly strong. They do seem to ramp up a bit slowly though
SO anyway suggestions? Please give some points about your choice and viability of what you say. Thanks

If you're going to theorycrafting new comps, then I suggest you create a new thread to start a new discussion. This thread started off as a 5v5 Enhancement thread, then slightly turned into a "how does everyone else make money" thread, and may very well turn into a "what's the new flavor of the month" thread.
It's only going to lead to confusion.

Ah very true, i will keep on track then haha. Going to do some 5s tonight, going to try to barrell past the 1700s. Guild that can help me beyond that has a 1750 rating requirement. Really shouldnt be hard as i am already facing teams thereabouts.
Anyone have any insight on how to combat a team that camps the highground with an ele shaman, like the bridge in blades edge? i tried humping the lower part waiting them out, to no avail, they could get angles on me and zap me. Comp was mostly ranged.

ele shaman in blades edge usually means kill the ele first or fight under the bridge/turtle until ascendance is ready again if failed
-
Ah yeah that's what I should have done. I should have rushed in and tried to boom the shaman quickly and retreated if failed. I will post the video of that loss once I fix or replace my monitor.
Yup my LCD monitor failed. From a brief look over, I think I found 3 capacitors that are proofed up. No tester so just going t try to replace all. If not it will be some time before I am online again as I live in a super small town and will need to ship something in.
Back on topic. Very difficult I know, but I saw a video of a shaman in 5s dropping combat using spirit walkers grace to start rezzing a team mate then running los of that player and enemies to get a Rez. Hard to pull off boxing but interesting idea.

As promised, computer is back up and running (soldered in 3 new capacitors) so here is my 5v5 loss (one of) vs an ele where they control the bridge. You can see my indecision and where it all goes down hill.

I don't think i am going to run with a pally anymore, they seem quite squishy and still very easy to cc chain. So far my favorite is still priest. Went up to 1600 these last games, but every loss was due to a healer getting a rez on their team and my pally dieing. obviously i need to wake the fk up and stop rezzers, but it's hard to focus on when im on the edge of death and spending every maelstorm healing.
