Nullsec setup was 3 Scouts, 16 Tech2 Large Bubbles on All inbound gates (32 total deployed against 2 gates), 1 Orca+1Freighter for Hauling (if i dont have a corpie hauling), 1 Rorqual in the tower boosting and compressing extra ore and 8-10 (depending on Hauler Situation) Hulk Miners. Each miner have all ore processing at level 4 for Tech 2 Crystals, Exhumers 5. In null-sec we flipped 3 indy 3-4 systems that way if we had a camper we would just JB over to the other area mine there until they showed up. Lots of time staying camped in station trying to bait out the camper so we could continue mining. That worked about 10% of the time. In nullsec we were pushing enough minerals to make a half-dozen or so carriers a month including 1 super a month, but then again it was primarily 3 to 4 multiboxing mining members(me and my xo both used 8 to 10 miners each not counting support), and the others were 5 to 6 miners each. That all came to end when the new leadership took over (primarily because we didn't like the new leader on a personal level).
For highsec, since i have a few other indy friends still traveling with me, they have been mining minerals for me, each of them using 5 or 6 non-boosted miners. When i get setup, ill will revert back to 12 Hulks (or macks, due to tanking issues) and 1 Orca(2 Foreman Links + 1 Siege Link) in belt being used to pass minerals into a charon/obelisk freighter. The tanks on my hulks can usually tanks 2 to 3 Suicide destroyers, tested against 3 catalysts doing 650-700 dps in a 0.5. They were in hull but still lived. I may switch to macks just to be sure i can mine to some more re-assuring safety against small gang destroyer ganks, or smart bombing battleships. Inside of the Orca i usually keep 3 types of ships, a surveying interceptor i can use to review the next belts setup 160km warp-to-pings, 1 Scythe Logi ship (3 shield reps), 1 PVP Tengu with 1 Shield Rep (this is actually my C4-C5 farming tengu setup with a web/scram instead of extra tank), the Tengu is incase i get to fight something. Orca usually sits within range of my main so i can swap ships all the others are spread out across the belt to keep from being BS smartbombed. If i switch to Macks, i probably wouldn't worry about the smartbombing BS setup.
