There is a 6GB version of the 7970 coming out (soon hopefully) that I'm waiting for. And the 7970s smash GTX580s, which should be expected since the 7970s are a generation ahead of the GTX580s.
GRAM is good, especially for high resolution.
playing main ultra, slaves on good, running 60/30 fps without slow down in AV thus far:D
7970 beats 580 GTX by like 30+%. Retailed at $550-599 (almost the same as 580 GTX 3GB). hell yes 7970
