A fun fact: Most "icelandic" vikings were really danish or norwegian vikings and/or served norwegian or danish kings.

I thought Iceland was the green one and Greenland was the icey one...and no I'm not joking :p I just seem to remember it as being ironic or confusing, having each other's names with opposite climates lol

V true but viking itself meant raider. They aren't vikings when they are at home farming

I also thought Vikings were a group of people, not a race?
