I love that macro, that has mad my hatred for the haters dissipate. Haha, it's so much win. I don't care about getting WSG now.
They spam me, /spit, run their mouths, report me or my slaves AFK. Spam that macro, and hilarity ensues.

Wow census
So I recently had an epiphany . So I checked our servers avg age population, and as suspected, the ~ age of alliance player on my server is 13. Its difficult to strategize against individuals who have little clue of what they are doing, and play wrecklessly. So... recalling when I was more youthful, I loathed being taunted. My adolescent ego would send me through the roof. Perhaps people already do this. I just started it.
Using a high level hunter, I decided to test this theory in AB. Two sets of gear, ONE: strictly for PVP and damage. (Typical), SECOND: strictly survivability. Tons of stam, resil, enchanted for stam, trinkets to escape, etc. "sort of a tank huntard" (not typical, but im sure done before)
My strategy is to simply piss off the opponent, to the point to goad them into abandoning basic game strats, just to come after me.
one Macro "/y LOL"
I was astonished at how many BG games were won, due to at least 2 or more minutes of 10+ players chasing me.
The execution was even more simple than the strategy.
When an opponent was near death, click macro once.
When an opponent died, click macro once.
When an opponent was after me, (regardless if I was about to die), click macro once.
I.e. I made it personal
After only a QUICK few seconds, (next rez), those same players would run head long into a group of us, targeting me and going for me the entire time. When I lived... click macro once.
1.5-2 mins into a game. There I would mount up, and charge into enemy occupied nodes, spamming macro. THEY FOLLOWED!! One or two (usually one), of my teammates would capture the node. Meanwhile I would head to the next occupied node, and grab more.
SOMETIMES, one guy wouldnt follow...but that was rare.
Once I had 10+ guys after me, I would simply run around the big circle with the victims in tow. 3 easy nodes, and sometimes 4 or full cap of 5.
Moral is: we all know there is excessive rage in gaming, and especially when people feel personally attacked by their ego. Use it to your advantage. My sons may watch me play from time to time, and we all just roll laughing at how stupid people really are.
+1 for that.
There is always hate in BGs. I did a fair share of solo played BG´s since Cata and well, it really doesn´t matter if there´s a boxer or not.
To be completely honest, it really depends how well you do in a BG. If you are indeed just not really contributing that much It's understandable hate.(causes could be gear, less experience, testing software or whatever) If you're however contributing pretty well then I just taunt them and make sure the raid will laugh at the hater. Those games usually end with a big smile on my face, wether we won or lost.
If you start a game with the idea that your fellow players will actually think and try to contribute then you could end a game very pissed off. You can often conclude wether you´re going to win a game within the first 2 minutes. I will always try to get people to contribute, by suggesting tactic and be communicative. Imo Moral and communcation are much more important then skill or gear. Just do your thing, if they fuck up just farm the oposing faction or semi afk and browse a forum or so. Be carefull to not get reported though, especially on a slave.
Ha ha ha. I used to get pissed until Ualaa showed me that wonderful macro a while back. If the group hate started... I would simply say "GG guys, I will show you what it is like if I MAKE you lose" and the spamming starts. Man chat would go NUTS!
If there is an individual that is REALLY pissing you off, be careful not to use profane words toward him, use that macro, then report him for all the rude words he is saying toward you. It is a 3 day banable offence (I know from personal experience >.< lol)
The people that run up to you in a city, say "what a loser fag has no life" and promptly log off... All I would ever say is "Oh look, A WoW player who thinks he has the right to critique someone else's hobby... How cute!" :D
Adapt :)
What right does internet bullies have to harass you?
None..
What can you do about it?
1. Meet their demands and stop playing, only to find that they continue whining anyway (they never run out of things to go aggro on)
(Its not really your fault they have IRL issues causing them to go nuts over a game that they should have a good time playing)
2. You can endure their unrespectful behaviour
3. You can turn the tables around and have LOADS of fun on their expense.
This is making me want to reopen my accounts, I miss (politely so I cant be banned!) harassing the harassers and standing up for the newbies in battlegrounds. The only kind of player I dislike is the bullies that will harass your gf/wife if she rolls on an item she dont need or if she drops the flag... I have nothing against slackers, newbies etc as they are playing the game their way without trying to ruin the experience for everyone else.
I in particular loved the small battlegrounds as people would blame me for their loss and contribute to my entertainment. There is nothing like having a few angry german kids going crazy because they lose, and pretty much all players lose 50% of their games meaning there is never a shortage of people to poke when they are about to burst out in tears.
No I aint perfect but I never start harassing anyone, but Ill join whenever someone starts up that game of ball :D
I seriously laugh out aload over what some people can say and how serious they take the game, its just priceless!
So yeah, take advantage of the haters, they dont deserve your best behaviour OR your friendship anyway.
Love how well thought out Pycno's post is.
This weekend. Im my huntard. I used my Charlie Sheen Tactic, and was "Winning...Duh". Then used the ole "/y LOL" as I made a pain train following me around EotS. So predictable.
I actually managed to piss off a guy on another server, so much that he needed to create a toon, just to chat at me and cuss me out.
I relished in this. "What you little b----, you cant take me on 1v1!?!? You suck, Eat my s---...you are a baddie. Im good, you're not! Blah blah blah HATE HATE HATE"
To which I replied.
"Mr. Internet Big Talker, Thank you for the screenshot you have just provided me, and my friends, for what will be several minutes of enjoyment. Clearly, your toon was better geared than mine. Grats, to playing this game more. There is a fine line between stupidly charging into a battle you cant win, and being totally insane. Example: charging headstrong into a conversation with one of more experience and wit, definitely out-gunned. Please feel free to rant and create as many toons as you see fit to accomplish and fulfill your venting... my ignore button will work for them all. :)"
Its a two part macro.
I have no idea which opponent this was, he didnt announce himself. Maybe he was shy.

Hahaha I love that! :D
I sometimes take the edge out by just stating the obvious..
"%(/#)%/ YOU NO SKILL NOOB LOLLOL!"
"You are right! Im very bad at computer games, you are very good!"
"I PWN YOU 1V1 NAB!"
"Yes I cant win anything 1v1"
"I OWN YOU MULTIBOTNOOB!"
"Yes and now all the girls will want you because you are better than me at a game :("
"Girls only date high rated players yes" etc.
Many of these complainers are decent in the game and they tend to spend much time in it also resulting in top notch gear. However they are very rarely among the best players, in order to compete with the best you need to adapt and learn instead of complain and anger reduces skill somewhat also imo.
Actually sometimes I do get slightly provoked and I feel like "Wait thats not right!" very briefly, that only happens when people say Im good xD But I dont argue about it, if someone thinks 1500ish rating is skilled then so be it :P
