Am i one of the rare multiboxers that does not like to be social when he is playing wow (moreover, that likes to be left alone )?

I have a similar concern. I don't want people to be able to find me on *ALL* my characters. Sometimes I create characters so that I can play without people knowing. From what I've read, it's an all of nothing thing. I'd love to be able to exclude some of my characters from this so I can still "get away from it all".Quote:

Also not a fan of sharing the Battle.net email. I've taken the time to get email that are only used as a Battle.net user id.

I think a lot of people are missing the "optional" part. It has to be a mutual agreement, so really anyone you don't want to have the info, doesn't have to have the info.
There will still be (I hope) a friends list.. but there will also be the Realid extension to it.
I'm assuming this means if you don't want someone to see you online, you can turn it off.Quote:

You are always able to set your status to show whether you are online, away, or busy. Any Real ID or character-level friend on your friends list will see your online status. Beyond simple online status information, Real ID friends will see detailed Rich Presence information (what character the Real ID friend is playing, what they are doing within that game, etc.) and will be able to view and send Broadcast messages to other Real ID friends.
But even then.. its still not something you go throwing out willynilly to people.

This will be great! for me atleast ^__^ i had to leave alot of friends when i Xfered my main due to whole guild xfering.. and they already have my email for msn so no more minimizng to talk to old friends =D
