I hope you're not doing the auto-scanning thing they made bannable a couple years back.

I'm not playing that long so i have no idea. Afaik i'm not doing anything against the rules, as it still requires me to initiate the scan. However i do that remotely as well as the buying. The reporting is a bit creative as well, but still according to the rules.
And yes it paid off so far: i sold 4 epic gems for over 1k gold. I figured that people who trade over a bunch of their gems don't look at the price (it almost happened to me) as in: they first search the AH to see if there are any others listed, if not they just click list & buy out with other toon, without paying attention to the price (as they think they listed it themselves). As soon as i detect someone is trading, i list it for 1k.
never got cheap items on ah, but ive done it the other way arroned, sold expensive
pet bomblings at 750g eatch the first day thay were boe :) sold 30 at that price
Sold a 2000g item today for 7g .... stupid batch post somehow went screwy and I was so tied from work I didnt notice ... Really always have to double check those auto post add ons ...
That sucks.. its the reverse of what we want.
I hate it when something like that happens, but that's life too.
This isn't really AH but last night i got given a 6 slot banker guild by someone that was quitting, Sold it for 1.5k :) best AH snag was probz my choppers on 5 tauren druids, got for 14k ea.
I've got an awesome deal going on right now. One guy is a pretty regular herb farmer. He mails me stacks of Frost Lotus for 300g COD a stack, Goldclover and Lichbloom for 7g COD a stack. A second guy takes as much Frost Lotus (350g a stack), Goldclover and Lichbloom (20g a stack) as I can mail him.
I basically log on, empty mailbox, COD it all to the 2nd guy and reap the rewards. It's the easiest gold I've ever made and I make probably close to 4k a week off these two guys.
I have found & won about 30 epic gems at <10g bid.
