Yes, it is Windows 7. Once you install win7 it completely takes over all your hardware in your computer, not to mention your power supply and even the power stick that you computer plugs into. win7 also automatically converts all the drivers you downloaded to special windows 7 code so it can control your hardware.
There is no possible way that the random freezing and reboots could be caused by your drivers, or your hardware, it is definitely windows 7 fault.

Still nothing it just frooze on me no report or nething i might just take it to a computer place and have them see whats going on. Maybe theres a short somewhere because it doesnt get hot at all. Gotta be something wrong with the os or a component and i dont have all the time to figure it out.
ok dozer i posted before seeing urs. So what do u think needs to be done to fix it get rid of win7 or what.

Visit the manufacturer site of every major hardware component you have, and download the drivers for them, then reinstall the drivers.
Make sure you have the latest BIOS version for your mobo, it may need to be flashed, but ASUS should have a program that will do that automatically.
If you don't have the time/expertise to figure it out, definitely take it in to a reputable service place near you (note: NOT Best Buy).Quote:

There are any number of drivers that are not 100% compatible with Win7 - for me I got a similar problem with a mobile broadband connection program
just read about someone with similar problems where it would only work with 6gb of ram, so maybe try running it with only one set of modules.
850w psu could be bad or good, depends on who built the psu, so it would be good to know the manufacturer of your psu.
some cheap psu's are based on old designs and the quality of the parts probably isn't as high, so a recently released psu from enermax(sample, don't know many manufacturers) in the 500w range might actually be "better".

The blue screen I'm getting says MACHINE CHECK EXCEPTION.
No idea what's causing it, only happens on the initial boot after some time running WoW. If I reset/reboot, it never crashes again until the next time I turn the PC on.
