Cool stuff. You're the reason my Battlegroup knows how to fight multi-boxers already :p Luckily some ppl still underestimate the instagib.
Grats. Do you run with a main, or just cycle around? I see that u use the same glyphs/talents on all 4, even though from your screenshots I know you're not all dropping totem of wrath are you?
Supa Grats! Shammy powa.
congrats fellow Rampager :D
So, we did some more games tonight and broke 2300... got my gladiator tabard =D. Theres still some 2500+ teams that will pick us apart pretty badly sometimes but I think that we have beaten most of the top page teams at least once, some much more. We decided to just stop there for the week but it doesn't feel like this is the ceiling just yet.
To answer your question Brothel, I cycle through my chars very regularly, anytime my lead char gets cc'd I switch to the next toon quickly. Also I like to lead with the char I intend on dropping the next earthbind from so I'm sure I'm in LoS when I drop it for the root so I will cycle chars as they have the cd available. I go ahead and get ToW on all my toons just in the event I happen to play one solo on a normal 3s team or something, I'm not to concerned about giving up 1% crit from the enhance talent to make sure I have ToW available on all 4 "just in case". I only drop one Tow usually but I've been considering dropping 2 or even 3 as some teams have started trying to kill my single ToW quiet often.
I remember seeing you in Isle of conquest.
Thats pretty cool mcgee, do you use PiP then? My setup is with 3 monitors, so I can see all my windows at once, but unfortunately when the main toon dies, I cant run as well on the other 3; which is why I run with resilience trink and stoneclaw totem on my main toon.
Yea I use the PiP that isboxer offers due to its instant switching I think its better than using multiple monitors since I can keep every chars window right in front of my face instead of having to turn ( even I a little bit ) to see the action. I sold my old 24 inch monitors awhile back and just put everything on one 30 incher after setting up the PiP in isboxer.
Very very impressive doing this.. I have only been playing in arena for a week and keen to hit 1800 + on my 4 shamans. Do you have any videos to help with strats? From your other posts you keep on the move, i find it hard as one toon is always slowed / cc'd / gang raped.. any tips or you just ignore one toon if being cc'd?
I run 1800 on a rogue so keen as to hear any help or feedback to become pro like yourself :)
How is you PiP setup for switching? Do you have a button you just keep kitting and it scrolls through the characters? A seperate button for each toon? or do you just click on the screens to swap?
I have a livestream with some footage of me doing arenas www.livestream.com/sanza. As far as when one char is cc'd I usually try to time my big dmg burst right after I drop 4 grounding totems since it usually keeps the CC in check for a moment. Also I try to put a lot of pressure on whichever class is doing a lot of CC so they have a harder time casting it. But when one or two chars are cc'd I usually use that time to purge hex or thunderstorm people. If your fast at putting pressure on people as soon as their even in range to cc you it really starts to become less of a problem. Mages, rogues, and druids are the worst but also if any of them are in range to use their cc, their also going to be slightly vulnerable in a lot of cases.
As far as the window switching I use f1-f5 as window activate keys in ISboxer. This lets me switch windows super fast, and I can still use Shift f1-f5 for targeting purposes on my own shamans and alt f1-f5 for targeting purposes on enemy arena teams ( i unbound alt-f4 in windows ).
