You have entered too many instances recently........

Loot every other time. Ive never hit the cap when I do that

I encountered a similar problem - not boxing, since I can't ^^...

In any case, I boosted two friends and reached the instance cap. We waited for about an hour. Then we tried again - they could enter but I couldn't.

When I logged onto another toon of mine, I couldn't enter any instance aswell. So I figured the 5 resets per hour is account wide. Did you do any instances beforehand with any toon on your boosting account?

Yes its account wide, no I didnt do any instance before as i said a few posts earlier.

I'm sorry for resurrecting such an old thread but i don't understand the reason behind this?

Surely you still hit the 5 instance limit after:

1) Cath
2) Armory
3) Armory
4) Cath
5) Cath

so it would be the same as doing:

1) Cath
2) Cath
3) Cath
4) Cath
5) Cath

Or am I missing something? Are all wings of SM classed as the same instance or something?

limit is 5 per hour. does not matter where or what char your on Raids or dungons same thing,


now SM classed as the same instance, not sure becouse if you reset SM it resets them all 4 not tested this might give it a try. but i still think if you entered it a new one it would show as a new dungon, even if they useing the same resets

Exactly ;)

To clear up things, you only need to reset once you've cleared both wings (cathedral, armory) then you can repeat.

There is a way around the limit per hour, though it seems a bit of an exploit to me and I wouldn't personally use it.

Hackers/botters who would teleport to certain trashes/bosses and if it was removed they would be able to more than triple their intake!!

How so ? If theres a way post it and we will let you know if it's fishy or not.
People already get around the instance limit by having 5 characters of different classes who can que up. When you have like a level 25 hes good to que with the other guys till 30+ lol.
