Seems to me you need to take your own advice. Not everyone is a 9 year old or interested in eyecandy. If people can't handle differing opinions, they should stay away from conversation.
The annoying thing is that it could have had just a few changes to knock out the white supremacy aspect and leave us with a feel good movie rather than just a look good movie.
I expect better of a seasoned writer and director like James Cameron.
and telling people to keep their opinions to themselves in an online forum? Oh dear.
There is no message in the movie to ignore. There are only people who want to see messages.
You don't have to "ignore the message" and enjoy the movie. It's a movie. In other words....from the word go it's "entertainment".
It's like telling people they have to ignore the "message" of how men are evil just to enjoy the Walt Disney film "Bambi". Or they have to ignore how Tom is an evil cat trying to eat the poor innocent mouse in "Tom and Jerry" cartoons.
If you have to tell people to "ignore the message"...you've already failed. Because they're too stupid to get it.
Just as an fyi an interpretation of something can't be wrong.Quote:

I saw it - loved the eyecandy, the plot was yawn worthy and quite a bit overdone, but it sure was pretty to watch!
