Dear pvp junkies!

I'm enjoying lots of world pvp and some battle grounds. getting completely stomped in arenas. Could be cuzz my druid healer is in all blues... Eh, i still blame myself cuzz I can't seem to burst anyone to death off the bat like I should be. it's always "blast them down to 10% health, then they are healed to full, and now my team is aoe feared/stunned multiple times in a row and I'm dead" Ah well. I guess I'll keep trying... for some reason. Everyone elses rating is so high, and i just want 1350 for furious shoulders haha.

...think I might go play Darkfall for bit... too bad you can't box that ><

I am a big PvP fan, but my shamans are losing a bad battle in the arenas on Bloodlust. We did some games today, and it was about the same as 5 months ago, 2400 rated and 1100 rated teams, with not much in the middle. We either rolled teams horribly and without a problem, or we got steamed without even a chance.

I don't understand how you guys are getting high ratings on your shamans, I can't kill a target with a priest on their team, or even a good druid with his cooldowns up..

I think we need a good guidfe on wtf to do in the arenas these days :P

All I know is play play play. Try on different nights different times etc. I still have yet to play with a healer this season (Running Quad Shaman) with a seperate Warlock and we are at 1151 with no real problem. Higher yes it probably is.

Have you tried 4x flameshocking 1 target then chain lightning+instant lvb on a different target. With EM popped you are running about 50% chance to crit anyway, a lot of the time 2-3 of them will crit and it will be enough to kill the target after 4 chain lightnings as well, and the healer focused on the flame shock target.

do that with a focus target. LB+CL some random guy, you might even kill him, instant nuke your h idden target. works like a charm. The only thing that survives it is full relentless and thats if nothing crits, they'll still be at like 5% hp

while its not arena, I am def having fun with my unconventional route. I have moved my toons from 1 account to 4, I am working on leveling my last toon, 72 druid.

My team will be ret paladin, frost dk, disc priest, resto druid. Right now, I am having a blast in Wintergrasp. Typically, we always have tenacity. I am able to take shops a lot quicker.

Once my little team is more solid with the druid in some descent pvp gear, I plan on frapsing some stuff. :D

I got burnt out in areans back in S2-S3 (solo). Now its just for fun, some points with friends, etc.

Well 2 weeks ago I get to around 1780 in 5s and all excited arena partner has gtg, I'm all WTF
I Invite someone else we lose 1-2 and we stop he logs on all pissed the next day so I say here... I'll give u lead we get back to 1760 he's gtg.... Havnt seen him for 2 weeks..
/quit arena team today and found some new guy, we only got to play a little bit but got to 1650 so maybe this is going where it should as I was 1780 with 1000 games played and now we at 50 games played with 1650, and going stron

I'll be joinin the 1800 club soon don't worry

Just keep playing, before you know it you will have some good hi rated teams that you will farm and boom you get your weapons/shields. And from there its only one way...UP! =)

It's really tough to get and keep a healer until the team proves viable past 1800. It took me 4 weeks to find one since my team never got past 1740 last season and no one wanted to give it a shot as my gear was so bad. I had a new guy and wasn't sure if he was serious - when we hit 1800 in one day he was there to stay. Now that we are 2000 he says he hasn't had this much fun in arenas since... ever .And he has played on teams much higher rated than mine. At this point I have people willing to transfer servers to heal the team - not because I'm amazing or that I can offer them 2200 or gladiator - they just want to see what its all about. When you are winning and not being cheesed to death by aoe, it's really a riot to see the team come together. Half of our communication on skype is uncontrollable laughter at this point.. haha

i see myself getting high rated soon, alot in RL going on, cant play this week~!!!! --- i want to get 1800, so damn close
