I have the same heatsink as Ooga at his recommendation. The fact my Quad Core 9550 was running at 105 degrees was not healthy. :P
Now it runs at about 45 degrees thanks to that heatsink under full load.

I found it funny that they call it 'V 8' and make the top of it look like a Chevrolet V8 engine cover:

My CPU stays only a few degrees above room temperature running at 100% with the tiny heatsink that came with it. I don't overclock at all though.
I have the same one, it's amazing however its to big for my case (Sob) so been looking for a replacement but keeps everything very cool.
Zalman 9700LED on mine as well. Stays cool even with my overclocked Q6600 running at 3.0ghz. Only issue with a fan that big...installation.
