HKN is a free alternative, and works quite nicely. Head to Hotkeynet.com find the download at the top, and install it. Then follow this link http://hotkeynet.com/wow/wow-sample-two-on-one.html read the little bit about how it works in the header, make the small changes that are needed, and save it in a text file. Load the script into HKN and you'll be boxing without tabbing in minutes.
I'll leave the macroing and assisting bit to you, as there is plenty of documentation on this site in the stickies and wiki.
If you post your screen dimensions, and the size you want your screens to be I can make a script up for you. Also tell me what leader method you want and I can help you with the macros, and script if needed. Focus is probably going to be the method of choice for dual-boxing, but i won't turn away a request for FTL, or some sort of hybrid setup. Just post what you want and I can help.

I was hesitant to pay 20 bucks for a prgram that I had no knowledge of when i first started boxing as well. It wasn't the money it was the, "do I trust this vendor I've never heard of" factor that had me hung-up for a while. I looked around and found so many people using it that I finally threw in the CC number and got the full version. I would definately say it was worth it, nice program and good support even through the verification server hiccups.
I eventually switched to HKN because I like to mess with the scripts, but thats my sick addiction, and had nothing to do with the caliber of Rob or his software. I haven't upgraded to the newest version of keyclone but from what I hear it has been steadily getting better, and more worth every cent you spend on it.
Went with 2 locks gah this is so easy. I can just kill stuff by having both pets go in and then wand lol.

Some people really do make it almost unbearably difficult to not flame on the newbie forum.
Not flaming newbies is so easy, I just imagine a giant jellybean asking questions...not sure why but after the bout of laughter, I'm much more able to understand where they are coming from, and provide a meaningful answer :D
And seriously newguy, fursphere likes you he flamed you faster than he flamed me when i was new, so I'm convinced it's love at first sight :P
